Mazara is bad. The Sox are not giving up Lopez for him. He's worth like a Fulmer and lotto ticket. Even if we got him there is no way he should be RF starter.

I'm so happy he got to 30. That is a great benchmark for him, especially with how much time he missed.

That's a big no from me. We still don't know what Collins can be and he's young enough. We don't have any other legitimate catching prospects in the minors. He has a good offensive skill set that can be built on. Fulmer or some of those OF prospects we have for Mazara fine. But I wouldn't wan't him penciled in as our starting RF. He just hasn't shown any progress really in the 3 or 4 seasons he's been up.

They still have a lot of bad money on that roster too. Good SP in the minors but that's pretty much it. The one tradeable asset they have in Boyd they didn't trade while hes having a career year.

I think they try to get 1 more year in, but at the same time KB and I think Baez are not interested in signing extensions. They are going to have to make some decisions this winter.

So yeah, I think I'm all aboard the Castellanos train for RF. He hits a ton of doubles and a decent chunk could be HRs at GRF. Playing in Detroit all those years would be tough on any alley hitter.
