Love Jose and what he did for the WS. I'm not mad at all with Jose not being paid $20 mil a year. It was time to put AV in his natural position and let him take off from there. This also allowed us to sign AB.........ditto to what you said in your post. This team is in a better position and better constructed now because Jose is not on the team anymore (That is not a knock on Jose).

This board is in love with a soon to be 26 year old from another organization who has 13 major league AB's and has struck out 415 times in the minors over the past 3 minor league seasons. How will that translate to the majors? On top of that, we think we should trade TA for a guy like this. I understand the TA hate or dislike is at an all time high but some of you need to put the edibles down. I hate this organization right now like many of you BUT let's stop pretending that all of the players on our current roster suck and should be traded for a guy of OUTMAN's Ilk.

How about we let him consistently play 1B and then make these assumptions. There is a strong possibility that he gets better playing his natural position for the whole year instead of small sample sizes. This team and organization piss us off but let's be practical with some of the criticism
