Mendick, Engel, and (maybe) Robert leave with injuries

Good lord Hahn why are you such a pussy.
-
Here's that breaking ball I was talking about. ?
-
Damn
-
Liam Jenkins. He's from the area. They signed him after he was released by Cleveland (pretty sure he had TJ). He's huge with a big fastball and devastating breaking ball. Problem is he can't throw consistent strikes. If he can figure it out he can be a weapon out of the pen.
-
Big Liam with a nice outing. If he can get his shit figured out he could be a force out of the pen.

This guy can't decide if he wants to go from a windup or from the stretch so he said fuck I'll go from both. -

It's really hard to believe how awful the bottom third of the roster is. How did he let that happen? -

Sprint speed is pretty much useless. All it tells you is his top speed but it doesn't tell you how long it took him to get to that speed or how long he was able to maintain that speed. Like a lot of these new metrics it seems cool but it really doesn't tell you anything. -
They would have to underslot a guy in the 1st. Maybe someone like Susac or even DeLauter. It would still be difficult because teams with multiple picks could match or beat any offer they would make.
-
Schultz was shut down for a couple months with mono. Schultz and Izzy both pitched in their playoff game but were beat by Plainfield East. Murphy pitched in the playoffs but his team lost a game he didn't pitch in.
-
It sounds like Schultz threw the shit out of it last night.
-
He's not a first round talent. He has big power but it's bat strength over bat speed so there's a fear he won't be able to catch up to big league velocity. He's also a right/right 1B/DH so he offers no value outside of his power. Someone will take him in the 3-5 range based on the power tool alone.
-
They're not going to have the patience to let him develop as a starter. They missed that chance when they rushed him to the big league bullpen.
-
I wouldn't like that pick either. I don't like the arm action or the effort level. I have Hjerpe behind Whisenhunt, Campbell, Hughes, Mazur and Tidwell.

Burger doesn't have the athleticism, feet or hands to be an avg defensive 3rd baseman. The tools simply aren't there. -
