No they don't.

Right. There was no reason to trade him before the lockout. Just wait for the teams that missed out on their free agent targets.

Where could Kimbrel be traded, and for what?
Harold's Leg Lift replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Or it shows how little (pun intended) other organizations valued Nick Madrigal and this was the best trade they could make. -
Yes and hopefully they move the date up along with some anti-tanking measures in the new CBA. My guess is there is so much other shit to negotiate they just kick the draft can down the street but a guy can dream.

If you were to count to a million it would take you a little over 12 days. If you were to count to a billion it would take you over 30 years. A little perspective on how fucking stupid the millionaire vs billionaire argument is.

Ritter is already a plus defender as you will see in the video. He has it all defensively. Feet, hands, arm and instincts are all plus. His draft position will all depend on his bat. If he hits and I think he will he'll be a no doubt first rounder. He's big, strong and super athletic w/plus power potential. He showed flashes last year but he needs to be more consistent with it this year. If he hits he's a DUDE.

Absolutely love pitchers who play hoops. LOVE them!
-
He's a lefty. Got a Randy Johnson on our hands.
-
It's actually Oswego East HS. They have another arm that's pretty good too. Those Sat doubleheaders could be a real treat.
-
I do. I think he was served a big ole hunk of humble pie and will make the necessary changes to his approach. Yes,

I didn't include Kumar Rocker because we still have no idea what his plans are but if he does end up back in the draft I would put him somewhere in the middle. #15 to the Padres feels about right. Chris Taylor Resigns with the Dodgers
Harold's Leg Lift replied to AJ'S Cousin's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Unfortunately I don't think it does. If they would have resigned Seager I would be much more optimistic but I think they'll move Turner to SS play Gav at 2B and continue to move Taylor all over the field. -
It would surprise me. They're building an 81 win team to maximise profits.
-
Now that would be funny. Nico is way better than him everywhere.
-
and their 2B defense.

Do you feel this same way about other entertainment industries? Do you think Tom Hanks makes too much money to act in a movie or Taylor Swift makes too much money to sing a song?

Not worried in the least. -

It always seemed like the smart thing to do. What's the rush? The bullpen is a neccessary evil and teams will be scrambling to add arms after the lockout ends. Why wouldn't they wait for when his market will be at it's highest. -
Tough times for the model franchise.

James Fox: Can’t Ignor-as Boras, Sox will spend
Harold's Leg Lift replied to bmags's topic in Pale Hose Talk
They misread the market not only in the amount/years some of the players received but also in terms of how many teams were aggressive before the lockout. Now they have a rare opportunity to hit the reset button. They have a chance to get their shit together and execute a plan when the lockout is over. Don't fuck it up. -
Jewels 8 Piece Bucket would be much more believble.
-
I'm not surprised. Misner is a big and strong dude with big league tools. There will always be someone to dream on a guy like that (ahem) but he has never shown the ability to hit at any level. It's really hard to think he's going to suddenly figure things out now.
-
It's really hard to fix big swing and miss amateurs.
-
Misner. The Rays have their work cut out with that one. Dude just has no feel to hit.
-
He's not the first person who was told that.
