  1. The Cease trade is obviously a big part of it but without that you can still see a lot of young players on this roster in August and September. Montgomery, Quero, Ramos, Nastrini, Eder, Cannon, Leasure, Bush. etc. They have lots of guys in the upper minors who are more than capable of making the jump to the big leagues.
  2. No kidding dipshit they were a 100 loss team last year. No one is turning that around overnight but at least after the trade deadline there will a lot of roster turnover and young players worth watching.
  3. It's not about what the roster is on opening day it's about what the roster will be on August 1. You can check out until then.
  4. They had a lot of heat at his last game and needless to say they won't be forgetting that performace anytime soon.
  5. They're self-scouting. They're getting what they can for players they feel will not be part of the future. People have been wanting them to do this for years.
  6. My guy has had a rough go early this spring but he broke out in a big way today. Let's hope for more days like this ahead.
  7. Get rid of the players you don't think will be part of the future for players you think have a chance to be part of the future. Don't stop now, Boys!
  8. One dimensional player. I want someone more dynamic with that pick.
  9. I wish I could say I'm surprised about people getting their panties in a bunch about a live BP session (good lord) on Feb 26 but I'm not.
  10. I like him as a hitter and would give him a shot in RF but then I talked to someone whose opinion I greatly respect and he said Cags is by far the best player in this draft and he would absolutely send him out as a two way guy. So now I'm thinkin he can do both. But like I said I don't think it matters cause he ain't gettin to 5.
  11. Cags sitting 95-98 t99 w/a nasty 88-89 slider. DUDE
  12. I really like this dude. He's not gonna blow up a radar gun or a rapsodo spreadsheet but he can really pitch. He has a smooth easy repeatable del w/a 4 pitch mix and plus command. It would be great but I don't think he gets to pick 43.
  13. or that he can be a 1B/reliever. I don't think it matters. He ain't gettin to 5.
  14. Cags and Montgomery look really good too. I'm out on Bazzana and I don't want Wetherholt.
  15. Bonemer is a really strong kid w/a quiet simple swing and big time power potential. He gives me some Brady House vibes.
  16. Good luck hitting that. Dude is flat out nasty.
  17. I have no idea how he hit this pitch for a HR. He cleared his front and backside. I'm very intrigued by the idea that Cags might be able to play RF.
