  1. Playing the infieled in with zero outs in the first is a decision.
  2. Preciate it. Brecht isn't pitching well and he's getting crushed by the data guys. Maybe he can their 2nd round pick. Wish I was kidding.
  3. You know I love me some Braden Montgomery but I'm starting to suspect that just maybe the college baseball is a wee bit juiced. Call me crazy....
  4. Everyone has to stop this. Crochet pitching out of the bullpen could lead to serious injury. It already did. It's going to be a long road and there will be bumps along the way but it is abundantly clear making him a starter is the correct path to maximize his immense talent.
  5. I don;t think it was his plan to inherit a dumpster fire bereft of talent.
  6. There is a lot to like about this guy. He has a very simple swing and strong loose hands. He has a chance to do A LOT of damage.
  7. That's awesome. Fun place to watch a game.
  8. There are guys who really like him and think he's just scratching the surface of how good he can be. He can hit and hit for power and has a very good chance to stay at 3B. It seems there could be a blob of guys they have evaluated the same and then they take the cheapest guy. That may be what this comes down to.
  9. Hearing Cam Smith could be in the mix too.
  10. I guess that trumps me posting about him on page 2 back in July. ? I'll make you a deal. You can take Gillen and I'll take Curriel.
  11. Kid's got a great swing. It would be a great get if they could push him down to the 2nd round.
  12. I'm in on Cags, Smith, and Monty. Burns is throwing the crap out of it but I'm still gonna wait to see how he holds up at the end of the spring before I say I'm in.
  13. STOP SIGNING FORMER ROYALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SIGN MORE FORMER ROYALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Smith is really fuckin good. If he hit bombs too I might have him over Cags.
  15. Not the way he looked yesterday. It was his first outing (27 pitches). He was 94-97 w/a much improved breaking ball. He also cleaned up his body. If this is what he is the rest of the spring I dont see him being there at pick 43.
  16. Ryan Sloan was good today. He was real good.
