There is a lot to like about this guy. He has a very simple swing and strong loose hands. He has a chance to do A LOT of damage.

There are guys who really like him and think he's just scratching the surface of how good he can be. He can hit and hit for power and has a very good chance to stay at 3B. It seems there could be a blob of guys they have evaluated the same and then they take the cheapest guy. That may be what this comes down to.

Not the way he looked yesterday. It was his first outing (27 pitches). He was 94-97 w/a much improved breaking ball. He also cleaned up his body. If this is what he is the rest of the spring I dont see him being there at pick 43.

Ryan Sloan was good today. He was real good.
