  1. Let's just say you aren't trying real hard to see some of the positives.
  2. It's better than wallowing in self-pity IMO.
  3. In the "old days," I would agree with you. With today's 5-inning starts, if we are lucky, it's practically mandatory.
  4. I don't understand why Jerry wants to be the managing partner if he can't afford to play the game. Estate taxes are not driven by the title you have. Taxes are driven by the value of the holding at his time of death.
  5. I was poking Jerry and his tight-fisted ways. Hays would be one of my position player targets at this point.
  6. The free agents in our price range are still available.
  7. Pathetic if true.
  8. I like speed!
  9. We don't have anyone at this time who would do better. Get some pitching and stop worrying about Robert IMO.
  10. I don't want any player with these conditions. Sign a 1-year deal or a 3-year deal.
  11. For me, it screams keep Robert and go for it.
  12. I am delighted to have a player mentioned in the same breath as Ohtani.😄
  13. I'd rather have Hays as well but Kepler does intrigue me until McGomery arrives.
  14. Every player a club signs comes with risk. This should be a relatively easy decision. Getting fans into 2026 should be a motive enough.
  15. It would be nice to see the Sox make an effort at something more exciting than another team's castoff. This would be a really good move to regain some fan interest at a cost that should be very affordable. I am all in.
  16. I argued this point a few months ago at the trade deadline. It's not a crowd pleaser...But I agree.
  17. I like this move. Hey, it's what we do.
  18. Jerry is cheap...not dumb. I presume, at the end of the day, it depends on what the deal is.
