The best was Wilbur Wood but the last was some no name I can't remember.

Why won't we go outside for Keuchel or whoever. RH said they would when the time is right. Newsflash....the time is right.

Blue Jays of Toronto vs Ricky Renteria's Southside Buntmen | May 17th | 7:10pm CT |
JR is 83 years old and does not have interest in 10 years from now. I imagine estate planning and tax avoidance is his primary focus. If preparing the team for sale by his heirs... I suspect he will be in go for it mode. It also might be fun for him to go out a winner. His reported net worth is in excess of 1.5 billion so he can afford to do somethings just for grins.

Robin Yount was in the majors at 18 and only hit .250 his first year. I'm sure he was learning and growing at the same time. Robert was signed to a huge contract because he was unusual and Madrigal was called almost major league ready when he was drafted. I'm excited to see them sooner rather than later. The team will soon become irrelevant if we don't start seeing some of these new guys as this is still an entertainment business. Be entertaining.

Because we would win more games and maybe compete. The season is only 1/4 over and lots can happen. Robert, Madrigal & Cease can be brought up... and Kouchel and/or Kimbrel might appear.... a key injury or injuries on teams in front happens frequently...stuff happens. Also, I don't just look forward to the baseball season all offseason to give up after only 1/4 of it has been played. I'll remind you that in 2006 we had the kind of lead Minnesota has now...we didn't win.

I agree. A couple of #3-4 type starters and we could win this division this year.

Kenny's Greatest Hitters
With the money some players make....they won't be anxious to strike either. As in all things reasonable people should be able to find reasonable middle ground. It's just stupid to kill the golden goose.

OVERVIEW FOR 2020
I know the Sox won't eat Alonso money but Jimenez at DH would be my preference for health reasons.

OVERVIEW FOR 2020
Delmonico is the smart guess. I like him a lot as a person and his defense has been tons better lately. He actually is playing better and a guy who can accept a mostly bench role has some value.

And That's a White Sox Winner !!
Oops! I just remembered RR lifted him at 5.2 innings....my apologies.

And That's a White Sox Winner !!
He did have a quality start. Six complete innings with three or less runs.

Blue Jays of Toronto vs Ricky Renteria's Dumb Ass Lineup | 7:10pm CT |
Cal Ripken and Lou Gehrig played every game forever. Why in the world do these young men need time off on such a constant basis? If a day game follows a night game the whole lineup needs to look like there was a flu epidemic. I understand that the demands of a catcher require about 40 games off but even 10 games off for other positions is overkill. How would they ever make it in the real world?
