Ye of little faith.

Nor McCann the double. It was as if McCann was showing Ricky why he needs to stop fooling around with bunts every chance he gets.

Good to see Eloy display that power we've heard about. Once he gets settled we are going to see some impressive things out of him. Maybe it's just my eyes but I thought he looked much better in the field as well.

I frequently harp on the FO that baseball needs to be entertaining while the rebuild continues. This was the game of the decade in many ways. Great energetic game with double/triple plays, home runs (4), timely hits (McCann &Tilson), excellent pitching (Nova) and all this against a team that rarely loses a home. ENTERTAINING!!!

Decisions on Colome & Abreu will be important. If we sell I want major league ready people who are blocked and therefore expendable. The future is now. Give the kids a chance to taste the majors and play together. Your seeing guys like Jimenez, Gio & Tyson grow up right before us.

Players sometime make managers look like a dumb s***.

Time for another double play. Please!

For me this would be his last hitter if he doesn't get the out.

He needs to work faster. He knows what he is going to throw. Get er done.

Be patient...it's coming soon I think.

I was just reflecting on this game and how much better this lineup looks when McCann is in it. Taking a nothing bat and replacing with an actual offensive player makes a huge difference.

Nice job by Osich. He's looked better recently.

I'm just happy with something reasonable instead of the roof caving in. Genius is not expected or required.

Ricky showing some managerial smarts taking Nova out before something ugly happens.

Agreed!

If only this could be his typical game.

Hope he's looking good to some potential buyer.

I can't remember seeing a double & triple play game like this and I have watched the Sox for a very long time.

This is what a lot of games are going to be like in a year or two. Keep the faith.

He's having one of his better days. Maybe he is heating up. LOL

Wouldn't that surprise a few of our more negative fans.

This is shaping up as a game the boys can be proud of. Hitting against a top pitcher and multiple homers including a grand slam...defense including double plays and triple play...pitching and holding down a good offensive club especially at their home where they seldom lose. ENTERTAINING!!!

Boys are putting on a double play & triple play clinic.

Tilson! How ya like them apples. That's why you play for the big inning.

For once the ump jobs Houston.
