  1. Tonight the problem is not hitting.
  2. I've been calling for Cease & Keuchel for what seems like months. Not because I want to rush Cease or overpay for Keuchel. These good young players need to learn how to win by playing with competent co-workers. These shellings don't help players develop IMO.
  3. Then pick someone else. Someone's going to get hurt with the line drives being shot at them. Can't make a respectable showing with 1 starter. The injuries to Kopech, Rodon and Dunning are not any ones fault but you do have to field a team including starting pitchers.
  4. I am not a blame the manager kind of fan but I can't remember a worse job of managing a game. Any average fan would have pulled Lopez before it so completely blew up. Lost a lot of respect for Ricky tonight.
  5. Yes...and I can see why.
  6. Wouldn't you think we could bring up minor leaguers like Lambert & Frare just to see what they could do? Surly it would be just as easy to watch as this crap. We might even find a hidden gem hidden deep in our system. Actually, Davidson would have given some of these guys a run for their money.
  7. That honor would go to Bevington in a landslide.
  8. This roster needs some major housecleaning. Can't happen soon enough.
  9. Moncada, Anderson &Tilson having real good game while Ricky, Cooper, Lopez & Castillo throw it away. Disgusting!
  10. I would have more respect for management if they release Castillo in the morning and call up Collins. If someone want to pick him up they can have him. Every fan on this forum could see this coming.
  11. This is a game I blame on the manager. Terrible!
  12. This game is just about as disgusting as last night's was exciting. I do understand that our lack of pitching cause Ricky to try and stay longer with the starter...but geeeeez.
  13. Told ya so. Really don't understand that Ricky & Coop can't see what ordinary fans can see coming from a mile away.
  14. Ball hit so hard it almost knocked Cordell over. Don't think Lopez is going to find himself.
  15. If it were me Lopez would be on such a tight leash he would have trouble breathing. My patience is wearing very thin.
  16. YoYo tattooed that ball.
  17. Charlie just keeps getting on base like good leadoff guys do.
  18. This game is still winnable. I hope Ricky doesn't let this get out of hand to save the bullpen. It's probably our best chance at a win this series.
  19. 65 pitches and we're not out of the 3rd. If you want to win we better get someone warming up. The outs are even scary.
  20. Lopez and his favorite battery-mate are not exactly under control tonight.
  21. Moncada has looked good tonight at the hot corner.
  22. So far the Twins don't look like defensive wizards.
  23. No. Sometimes you feel more under control with a good catcher behind the plate. I guess better guidance or a calming influence.
  24. Both guys who scored were on without a hit. That is the stuff of nightmares. Somehow I suspect McCann would have had a better control of the situation.
