  1. Herrera not helping his trade value lately. Not trying to be critical...just accurate.
  2. When we play well like the Giolito game we do hand springs how happy days are here again. When we play like last few days we are beside ourselves with frustration. That's what being a sport fan usually leads to. We're all nuts.
  3. How do you guys think Joe Mauer would fit as WS manager?
  4. I haven't given up on Covey & Banuelos as future competent components of a winning team. They just aren't very good yet. They both look to have live arms. Someone might fix em. Just don't know if it's going to be Coop.
  5. That same slider that that Abreu swung and missed at didn't even make McCann flinch. He is the real deal I think.
  6. You asked what is happening in the clubhouse. My answer meant I don't think anything is being done to change the clubhouse. Same guys are in the lineup everyday. Ricky never seems at the end of his rope. Maybe that's what FO wants. Nice calm & cool manager that says we'll get em tomorrow. Balls lost in the sky happen but useless throws that let the trail runner advance are really bush league. We keep hearing be patient as the kids learn the fundamentals down on the farm. Who's responsible for the major league guys if not the manager and coaches.
  7. Ricky is saying we'll just keep doing what we've been doing and get different results tomorrow.
  8. Wait much longer and it won't matter.
  9. When you allow the trailing runner to advance as Garcia just did---don't you wonder what coaches are doing to earn their money? We played better than that playing sandlot ball as kids.
  10. He is actually been OK from anything I was expecting. Stuff looks good. Just works slow for my taste. Good pitchers work fast and attack.
  11. Banuelos has good reason to feel a little paranoid about support in the field. He could help himself if he would work a little faster.
  12. Rather be lucky than good or good and lucky.
  13. He had a coconspirator in Yomer.
  14. Abreu doing a good job lately of upping his trade value or getting a nice extension.
  15. Twins don't look so good when they throw the ball around like that.
  16. I've wanted Alonso to do that for weeks now. He can keep doing it every at bat until that shift becomes less pronounced.
  17. Someone needs to tell our pitchers that slow working pitchers that need 20+ pitches per innings don't last long in the major leagues.
  18. I guess the choices are to grin an bear it or lose my mind. Gonna have to think about it.
  19. The 3-4-5 of Abreu, McCann and Jimenez looks a lot more dangerous in spite of that effort.
  20. McCann really has nice under control at bats. Never seems to be diving out over the outside corner like so many hitters.
  21. Nice hit for Moncada. Boys came to play today.
  22. Last year Ozzie was in a class of his own.
  23. Ever notice how really good catchers last a long-long time. Piazza-Hassey-Fisk-Bench-Campanella-Rodriguez-Berra-Carter-Hartnett-Dickey and I'm missing lots more. A valuable position as the on the field manager. When you find a good one you need to keep him. Thinking about this as McCann is discussed concerning his age.
