I've lived in Detroit and I was just there with my grandson last month - the trash talk on Detroit is totally underserved - think of how we dislike it when cubs fans trash talk the USCF area - well, I am feeling about the same when Detroit is attacxked in this way. You don't like the red wings or something else, say that, but don't attack the entire cir=ty with tired old cliches that long ago ceased to be even faintly true. I've thought about movng back to Detroit and the only thing that keeps me from doing so is that it is too far to travel to my beloved USCF.

in 20 years you have seen 3 division champs and would have been a fourth - you have seen far more seasons over 500 than under - you have seen Jack McDowell, Frank Thomas, Magglio Ordonez - I would not define that as crappy, not at all

I agree - we have a month and half to paly and a lot of baseball - I always hope our players aren't quitters like the fans after a lot more than 20 years of being a fan, I have seen many things - actually I am reminded of the 1967 season right now - we are in this to the end

no one ever said CLee is better defensive player than Mags - Mags is much improved over his first season, and CLee is much improved over his first, and Mags has become a very good outfielder and CLee has become very adequete - that I think sums it up

Lee is arguably one of the three top position players on the sox now and his defense - of which i ahve been evry critical of in seasons past - has steadily improvbed such that I feel he is very adequete out there, very adequete
