I love RPS like the Irish brother I never had - his defense of White is predictable since he detests JM so much. But for the rest of you - what the f***? We are going into a big series, a big stretch of games - and hell, we have a better record than Anaheim, maybe White should mouth off about Scocisa - why not just play the game? A player who goes public like this at any time but especially right now loses my total respect. The jerk picked a great time - also when they go on the road. Since I moved to Michigan in 75 I have tried to be a Lions fan and it just doesn't take. But I am a major Harrington fan. I was at Ford Field a week ago Sunday for the Eminem concert - while I hate indoor stadiums, I was very impressed with the Ford Field! That has to be a great place to watch a game. It was a great place to watch a rap concert at any rate.

he made the team with a worse spring training era and everything worse in ST than Ginter but made it on his rep he sucked much of the 1st part of the season he just destroyed a game on Saturday I wouldn't, none of us would be, even be commenting on him except he has to open his mouth before a big series JM has one division title and like him or not like him, he got us there once and this team has come together well this month - lot of ways to contend, not just one what is ridiculous is White shooting off his mouth at all, let alone now that is not the sign of a remotely team oriented player and sounds like he's trying to deflect blame for that atrocity of a pitching performance he pulled Saturday after sucking much of the year - "it's not my fault, it's that bad man's fault" a little maturity, responsibility, and team first attitude would do White a world of good

I never buy new Sox stuff when they are playing bad, only when I see new Sox stuff I've been good at the park all this season but when Sox fest comes it will be Re-Load time - I uderstand everything you say about not wearing some stuff because it isn't time - there is also some stuff I do not wear because if it did it might get soiled somehow - be glad you were no where around when a friend got ketsup on on my linen cloroed cotton 1919 jersey - and of course some stuff is reserved for big games and some stuff has had bad luck and is now home wear on non game days - don't tell your wife that I had a closet treatment done in January so I would have more room to store the stuff and then in June the shelves collapsed because I had so much stuff loaded on them - as I said to the contractor, "you never told me there were weight limits..." My grandson looks at the closet, the hat collection, the bobbleheads, and all the miscellaneous, and says, "someday this will all be mine" He was very happy when I told him that that was in fact written into my will. At the All Star Game, he wore the current pinstrpe home jersey over a 83 style t-shirt and looked just like his poppa - the joy of passing it on to a new generation! Nancy Faust thought he was adorable too... she never said that about me!

I saw that one on tv and was dying until the last second ticked off since the 80 game - the Anthony Carter catch - and why was that game that close? I was there, by the way - a great moment - since then Indiana has played us some tough games - we've won, but it has not always been easy - 1996 was a game far closer than it should have been in the Big House - we've destroyed them a few times too, last time I saw them it was not pretty, but everyone I know always feels bad about really taking it to Indiana big time in football - they have never been jerks as long as I can remember unlike other teams in the Big Ten whose state name begins with an "I" - and they don't have that stupid steam engine thing that Purdue has - I'd like to see them pull an 8-4 or 9-3 and lose to us by a nice 22 and win their bowl, just to see them enjoy a good season

I have a 1917 Kornerko - haven't worn it yet - PK is just having an off 1.2 year, and I think he's coming back. But you buy a jersey with a name, sometimes - who knows - 20 years from now it wild to have. I have an Albert Belle but no one will ever see me wear it - Be glad you didn't get a Koch or a Greg Norton jersey! PK has done a lot for us so it is worthy!

welcome to soxtalk why be embarrassed by what your jersey? a couple of years ago I decided I had no good Sox gear to wear and I have now rectified that. I have a closet full of Sox gear - I could wear something different to every home game for a season - a lot of stuff never worn since I do have favorties though - depends on who is playing and whether it is warm or cold, day or night, if I feel vintage or dress up or casual or very 2003 - be careful when you start buying - I have a closetful of stuff and Visa, MC, and AmEx all profited well too.

asking seriously, not talking trash - what does Indiana have this year? They lost a hell of a qb. Have a sentimental spot in my heart for Indiana since the 67 Kardiac Kids Rose Bowl team - as long as they lose to us, they can win the rest of them! Will Indiana be good or competitive this year?
