oh yes they do, jason., you person with no knowledge of college football.
-
KochThis - notice the new avatar and sigs to add to your Illinois football pictures, here is one of my personal favorites!
-
I disagree. I think a mere 8 run lead is sufficient for a game to be KochProof™.

Live and let live. I will not do the wave any any circumstances. But people pay their money, let them do their thing - and be glad there are enough fans there to do it. Not part of my game experience but if it is for others, so be it.

I may have a have an extra ticket for our hosting Purdue and some other big 10 team. If I score an Illinois ticket, I'll only get one. My other ticket for the OSU game is going to my grandson. If you want to see the Bih House for a big 10 non Illini game, let me know, it will be in October. I may go down to NW this season to see us play there.

since we are usually on a game by game basis swapping 1st and 2nd place on all time victories and all time winning percentage, do you know off hand who is first and who is second in these categorties right now? this is a real question, I am at work and can't take time to look it up. bonus question: Notre Dame stadium built directly as an imitation of what other football stadium?

most of those records - if not all other than what is introduced at trial - would be confidential so they must be concerned with leaks, which are almost inevitable in a high profile case. Double and triple hearsay is not admissable but can be in police reports and could include descriptions of what type of sexual acts were performed and how (picture, for example, Kobe in a baby bonnet saying, "give it to me Mama") or that some substance enhancers were present at the scene or things of that nature, or that someone bragged about things afterwards or preplanned - or maybe that Kobe is the smallest basketball player in NBA history - or failed to engage his equipment until he got violent - or that Kobe discussed his wife in any way - the concern would not be over the trial as all that is subject to judicial instructions and orders but the damage to endor$ement$ could be even more deadly than the charge itself, or leave Kobe open to ridicule. An innocent person as we presume he is legally can still want all records sealed because of the embarrassment factor that is in those reports and documents, things that do not pertain to guilt or innocence but very private and/or graphic and/or just - private - or damaging heresay the public would devour.

I didn't lose again! -
I disagree. Veeck sold us to John Allyn who was open to move us (thank God for Art, Jr.) and would have sold us the 2nd time to people who would have moved us as the reason for buying the team. Like it or not, JR saved the team for Chicago that 2nd time around.

we'd be the team with 28 world series wins ...or at least one more... 1919 1920 and who knows how many after that - we left the door open for them when we were the dominant team and once we got kicked down and they got to be dominant it was not pretty. Had we stayed dominant for the playing span of the 8, it would have kept going, IMHO, for us just s it did for them.

watch what you say when you post with my name in the text. As Eminem says about Shady is true for me: you don't want to f*** with Shady cuz Shady will f***in' kill you.
-
truly. It is not my job to kill threads. Just expressed my opinion. oh soy un peredor I'm a loser baby. So why don't you kill me.
-
the word "killed" in the title does bother me - its a bit over the top and "no one means it so f***ing chill out cw" but it does bother me

Thank you again for your intelligent and lucid comments.

73 will always be my biggest heartbreak year damn that hurt all season - other than 94, did we have bigger hopes going into a season - and 94 we can blame the lock out but 73 was all injury thanks for the agreeing on Veeck and A Allyn - us old folks must stick together! In our lifetimes, we have experienced every White Sox owner but one. Feel really old now? Of course the Dorothy Rigney era was successful - didn't we finish 2nd every year with her owning the team? On average she has far and away the best finish record as an owner of probably any MLB owner ever. Wonder if any other team ever had two women owners and do our younger fans even know that -

I heard Melton say that and I am stunned

by now, JF, it is just another baseball tradition

and he is halfway to the mound with just one step which is bigger: Goodyear Blimp Aquafina blimp Mickey Lolich if he swallowed Cecil Fielder Colon

shush, I am trying to score with Heather my real heroes wore 2 and 11 and 23 and 72 and 35 and, soon if he keeps going, 30
-
hey if every base running play was perfect we would be tied now - Tribe fans have a bigger gripe about base running than we do a picture of my hero

they got hammered like RPS at a tailgate
