    #34

Garcia was 34 in Seattle and no one on our 25 player roster has that number - does anyone know if 34 is free and available for Garcia?
  2. here is a suggestion - it is one thing to post what you did, you have a right to, fair game comment whether anyione agreed or not but it is not cool to call out another poster in your thread title before I read your post i was predisposed to dislike anything you wrote because you called out a poster by name in a thread title and I just don't think that is cool at all piss people off and it does come back to haunt

    Sex Clubs!

thank you someone asked the point of the thread? On the same day the Senate Republicans push a bill in the Senate to get touch on dirty words on the radio and Janet Jackson dancing at the Super Bowl -- the vice president of the US, who is under the constitution the president of the senate, is saying f*** you to a US Senatior, Patrick Leahy of Vermont, and of course this is the same Cheney who ran with Bush to supposedly bring civility to the political process - and as researched, that has never been said by a vice president to a senator on the Senate floor in US history so it is a new low - been said off the floor, but civility and decorum seem to be lacking in the administration that pledged itself to that based on what the Senate passed, a radio or tv station could be fined severly for quoting accurately the vice president of the US on the same day the Republican nominee for the US Senate in Illinois is dealing with his sex cluib scandalsand ain't that a tad hypocritical for someone who has run as a moral beacon in a party that is open to that charge of hypocrasy as Apu has pointed out - all the "moral denuniciations" on this board only seem to go one way and it gets tiring and tiresome and I posted to green to use satire, not to attack, a distinction lost on some

This is a thread to discuss Republican public virtues! Dear, please lower your shoulder a litttle, the camera can't pick up the Vote Republican button on your right nipple! we need to do something about Janet Jackson! Indecent language on the airwaves! We believe in family values! Pass a law! f*** you!

Kerry plans to restore the tax rates on the wealthiest 2% of American taxpayers Republicans in congress will meanwhile be at sex clubs (damn, I love Jack Ryan, in fact, I love all Illinois Republicans named Ryan!) and yellling f*** You! (damn, I love Dick Cheney!).
  10. I hne nothing but good to say about Charlie Rangel. The rest, you haven't been reading. In the spirit of Republicanism however I think you and I should go to a sex club and have an audience watch us while we get taped having sex (Jack Ryan) and then yell f*** You at each other (Dick Cheney imiitations)! God bless the party of family values and civil political discourse! (the last two sentences are attempts to lighten the mood and are intended for Republicans with senses of humor only. oh s***, there probably are none! that is more humor! )
  11. How would one exactly chill the f*** out? or is it chill the f*** out? It boggles my mind
  12. at the game, I have no recollection of Jose doing anything than trying to make a play on a ball that was impossible to make a play on - I checked my scorecard because I note a lot of things and Barrett had a hit and Jose played it as well as was possible, nothing to fault Jose with at all on that, not all all, it was as noted a missile that was a pure hit and I will defend Jose from unfair bashing! I disagree on the PK comment. Earlier MO made a throw to first that if PK knew was coming might have been smoother but it was all ok the JG error was not PK's fault - JG just threw that away - PK had no chance to save it as I saw it
  13. I buired a guy named John Simmons once, an unclaimed body, and lo and beho0ld 40 people showed up at the funeral - all too cheap to claim his body and pay for the funeral so it was done on the public tab my services were of course free, and done so the deceased could be buried with the respect all humans should have so we were surprised 40 (cheap bastard) mouners showed up and they surrounded the urn (the body had been unclaimed for three weeks and after a while, you just gotta cremate the rotting remains) with all these cards and pins with strange insignia on them I kept staring at the strange symbols during my funeral service when it finally hit me: they were white supremist symbols - I was - unawares - doing a klan-militia-white power funeral I was thinking if the (cheap bastard) mourners who didn't claim the body and wanted the funeral on the public tab knew the views of the person doing the funeral, they'd kill me but I gave the guy the best funeral he was ever going to get, and then the cheap bastard mourners wanted their racist and hate stuff interred with the urn so I got a close up look at the hate stuff - it was scary - and kind of hung with the funeral staff until our militia folks left the funeral home to kind of protect them - that is my Simmons story - sometimes thinking about real life makes me remember baseball is a game and an amusment so a loss is no big deal and the best teams will lose 4 out of 10 so what the hell is there to be so out of sorts about PS and yes, in conversation after the funeral I ascertained that these militia - as in Michigan Militia - members were indeed good friends with Timothy McVeigh
  14. why think about the bears? the bears will be 10 games back a lot faster, in a lot fewer games, than the sox will ever be 10 games back is time to think about the Sox because Sox fans do not "quit" and I sure as hell hope the Sox never do
  15. thank you I get tired of hearing the same rants and appreciate your comments
  16. oh, ok, now that I read the dates... speaking of Minnesota, tomorrow I am going to game with a Pillager native (near Brainerd)
  17. Valentin start? I will always save this post as an illustration of the quality of an MSU education
  18. this is a no troll zone and as well this is a place where we can live without taunting that way no cub fans in anything soxtalk before during or after there are other places to do that but not anything soxtalk related
  19. again, you are nominated....
  20. that is your spin of the event as I read the news from Chgicago, I read that very differently the world is an interesting place
  21. my reading of the situations is that you are wrong about the Bush ad and the rest of your post is .. well, that is why I like you a lot but cannot take you seriously in the political sphere; you wish not to vote for Bush but you blame others, me, for how you vote. You vote for who you want. It is your act. Take responsibility for it. I cannot recall one thing that ever gave any hint that you would do otherwise so don't cast responsibility on others for what you were planning to do all along. By the way, my father will vote for Bush. A lot of good people will. It is good people vote. we have watched the CIA commission report the truth and Bush and Cheney repeat their tired lies which led to war rather than admit the truth - same as with African nuclear rods when lies were responded with, not with confession, but the outing of a CIA operative contrary to law Cheney says "f***" to a US Senator and doesn't have the balls to stand by his comment but coward that he always has been says at most he maybe might of could of said it, trying to weasel out of what he definitely said f*** and the weasel veep I have yet to see you criticise one thing at all that is Republican- ever. For a year prior to the primary seasion I posted on who my choices were and why Kerry was not my first choice, and your accusations against "liberals" is just political spinning- I love you buddy but your doctrinairre political attacks are just too repitiotious for me (and you may well feel the same about me, and what we each feel is valid as our own feelings so no harm and no foul) and it is my personal perception/opinion that what you most charge others with is what should be pointed at who you plan to vote for you don't want to listen to me on politics fine but I find some word choices being tossed around to be very interesting and rather than engage in the personal attacks that you have done in your post, holding friendship more valued than cyber political wars, God be with you and have a pleasant weekend and may the Sox take this weekend series

I strongly disagree Jason. Ideology should take second place sometime. This nation has never seen such a wasteful profligate spender as this administration. The comaprison for Kerry is far better made with Clinton, where we had a balanced budget, indeed, a surplus.

I disagree totally. This is not Stalin's USSR. This is not Saudi Arabia. This is the USA where we have a constitutional right - indeed, mandate, obligation - to depose the head of the executive according to our constitution, and we sure as hell have a right to criticise the head of the executive branch when we want to. By the standard advanced above, it was wrong for Reagan to run against Carter - a time of national crisis when Reagan was criticising "their leader" to the American public. You can't have it both ways. I believe the head of the executive branch is the greatest danger to American security that exists in the world today and I will exercise my right of free speech to campaign in the opublic sphere to outsource him in the electoral process. And there is nothing more beautiful than that to show the world, that a Reagan can replace a Carter where free speech and democracy prevail, where a Clintoin can replace a Bush, without violence, without revolution, but peacefully according to our democratic process. That is exactly what is beautiful and we should be showing the rest of the world. To say we cannot 'turn against' a governmental employee who is chosen by the electorate to serve in a particular limited constitutional role is not a very American philosophy.
  24. imagine the surprise of everyone at the game when that was posted on the sco reboard
