Cubs owe $475,000
without having all of the facts in front of us, let's let the justice system work and not condemn it when it is possession of a hell of a lot more facts than anyone here of course that probably is even more convincing that you are reacting off of your immediate flip emotion rather than having any knowledge of the proofs that were offered in this civil case and Chad Kreuter, former Sox ctahcer, I salute you!

This "love affair" with Jimenez
I WISH Buehrle would "suck" as much as Nolan Ryan did. Please do not compare a 3rd year pitcher to perhaps the greatest pitcher of all-time. MB is not a 3rd year pitcher - although he is a 3rd year starter - and Nolan Ryan's W-L record is pretty crap for the greatest pitcher of all time. Look it up. Count his 18 loss seasons. If Nolan Ryan had 3 18 loss seasons for the Sox would you be so chipper?

Monday nite 6-16 game thread
Psycho, check up how many pitchers won as many for the Sox in 2 seasons as MB did in in 2001-02 with some lousy playing Sox teams. He's had a rough stretch. And he hasn't even been all that bad in that rough stretch. MB is the man and how many struggling pitchers can go out and beat Pedro Martinez?

This "love affair" with Jimenez
every pitcher has slumps and MB is a very good pitcher so has slumps like everyone does - check out the records of some great all time picthers. Nolan Ryan lost 18 games I think 3 times. MB will never suck like that. MB is more than alright.

Harris Recalled?
from the White Sox today: SANDY ALOMAR JR. TO BEGIN REHABILITATION ASSIGNMENT AT CLASS AAA CHARLOTTE TONIGHT CHICAGO - The Chicago White Sox have announced that veteran catcher Sandy Alomar Jr. will begin an injury rehabilitation assignment tonight at Class AAA Charlotte. Alomar, who turns 37 on Wednesday, has been on the disabled list since May 31 with a strained right oblique muscle. He was batting .247 (18-73) with one home run and eight RBI in 25 games with the White Sox. Alomar ranks sixth among active players with 1,138 career games caught. The Knights open a four-game homestand tonight vs. Ottawa. and WHITE SOX PLACE KELLY WUNSCH ON 15-DAY DISABLED LIST; REINSTATE WILLIE HARRIS FROM DISABLED LIST CHICAGO - The Chicago White Sox have placed left-handed pitcher Kelly Wunsch on the 15-day disabled list (retroactive to June 12) with a strained left latissimus dorsi (side) and have recalled Willie Harris from his rehabilitation assignment at Class AAA Charlotte and reinstated the infielder/outfielder from the 15-day disabled list. Wunsch, 30, suffered the injury in the sixth inning of his last outing on June 11 vs. San Francisco. He is 0-0 with a 1.15 ERA (2 ER/15.2 IP) in 22 relief appearances with the White Sox. Wunsch leads American League relievers with a .102 opponents average and .143 slugging percentage. He was sent on the rehabilitation assignment on June 10, batting .211 (4-19) with one home run and one RBI in five games. In 28 games overall with the Knights, Harris has hit .380 (38-100) with six home runs and 13 RBI. Harris hit .162 (6-37) in 14 games with the Sox after being recalled on May 1 from Charlotte.

Checking In
oh? I had someone else pegged. And now I am surprised and confused and mystfied - a lot like my normal state, but now more intense. Levinas has also given me much to think about and I was really trying to give that up. I understand my main dude John Dominic Crossan is living in Florida - Jesus Project honcho - left DePaul before the pope had him kicked out - why is it the older I get the more universalist I get?

Is Frank Back?
as the corker has only what, 6 home runs in the first year of steroid testing and Frank is back on track, maybe the fans will notice which is the showboat cheater and which is the hard working player.

Mark Buerhle
MB never said he wanted to play for St. Louis - those were not his words, only the way they got twisted, and not the context of what he did actually say.

everyone do themselves a favor...
I still have faith. I would love to see them go 12-5 over the next 17 games. We can do it - if we do it, things will starty looking decidedly better.

Game Thread for June 14th
I don't know where you are coming from other than Pavlovian dog style responses. Jose's huge baserunning blunder was big time. That was not a "pop up" that CLee had trouble with. I am still pondering whether that stupid play for the first SD run was the fault of Graf, or Braf & Frank & Wright, but I called that one out. You excuse every thing St JosE6 does wrong and blame everyone else. Jose was not trying to give a gift to Graf - he was out by 10-20 feet on a base running blunder so stupidl that I would have yanked my own kid of a game for doing that. Jose f***ed up. Go ahead, try saying that. Whe you are more objective, I canm take your posts more seriously. There were some reallyu strange plays yesterday. CK and others and I have been discussing all of them. We don't deify one player and crucify the rest to make the one deified look every more god like. U'd like to see a replay of the first SD run. I want to see if Frank and Graf ever looked to home and where JP was - was he in position to make the play. Wright never should have thrown to first on that pickoff attempt. On the other hand,, maybe we shoudl adopt that as a strategy - runners at 1st and 3rd, send the runner at 1st so in the distraction the runner on thrid can "steal" [actually, stroll] home.

Is Frank Back?
Bulls***. Something like 10 (or more) of his 16 home runs have either put us in a tie or the lead. Now that is clutch in my book. Just like last night.

A 2nd Chance for Thomas Bashers
