the endless debate will never be settled but I see no reason to change mnagers now and doing so would be an ultimate disruption to this team

No excuse. I regularly travel 205 miles one way for a game (split season ticket holder). In 2000 after the brawl I also traveled to Detroit to support my team. Mathew has come from Canada. HSC and I have a friend nicknamed NSC who flies in from Conneticutt - he has season tickets. If you wanted to be there, you'd get there. So don't b**** out others unless you go yourself. If you had said, "too bad the crowd was small" maybe everyone would have let it go. But you b****ed people out and that was what caught everyone's attention.

People complained that it was cold for Wednesday's game, and that's why nobody showed up....I said "It's not exactly Serbia" because 50 degrees is nothing. In Serbia, -50 is as common as 50. I'd bail on this one now if I were you. You are wrong on your insults to Chicago area fans. I would have stayed away last night, given everything. You may have missed what zach and steff posted about the Tuesday crowd being bad in the stands and wth the on-field incidents and knowing there would be a huge security clamp down with the weather turning way bad, who would go? Maybe you would. But you didn't. Why is your excuse better than anyone else? Shame on you. A loyal fan would have gotten to the park yesterday, right? Why didn't you? You are very wrong on what the weather was like in Chicago yesterday. And you may have forgotten that we have a poster from Serbia on the boards, and you have seemingly confused Serbia with Siberia.

oh come on, on a cold night, much colder than Tuesday, after all the security problems the night before? Of course people stayed away last night.
-
the bright spot was we had a "come from a late inning tie" victory. The last two seasons when we blew a lead, we were finished. Even Tuesday we blew the lead and Frank gave us a new lead and we blew it again. This time we blew the lead and yet got the run to win, more like what we did in 2000 than 01 or 02.

just pointing out who posted that Garland handled KC well over all... when there were doubters --- and Jason, his 2002 stats against Texas, not great, but not that bad...
-
these come back wins in April are good to get the team believing they can do the rest of the season
-
they had the defense deployed wrong for the short pop, good for us!
-
after all; the incidents of last night and threats of heavy handed security and who wants to be a part of that, surprised anyone showed up one direct effect of last night's cause
-
where the f*** is murc, president of Jon garland fan club, leaving me alone to stick up for Jon!
-
his stats against Texas in 2002 weren't that bad.... vs.TEX 1 1 0 0 0 0 0 5 6 4 4 1 3 2 6.75 1.69 .231 Garland 2002 stas v Texas

guarentee? Down on Garland? Why?
-
I love stats - especially when they show stuff that is contrary to what people believe

The WS MLB site says "The young right-hander [Garland] has found a great deal of success against Kansas City in the past, although he struggled in his first start this season against the Royals on the road. " from MLB WS page on Garland
-
i'm worried about the Royals - I'll be happy when they fold - right now they are motivated beyond anything purely baseball - the attacks have taken it deeper than that - my worry for is their motivation might carry their talent beyond its limits
-
is play by play being done here?
-
hasn't Garland always had success against KC?
-
who knew kenny had a sense of humor? when does he return to this site's banner?
-
He did respond. He called the situation, "unfortunate." He further stated that "..... the White Sox, not the City (of Chicago)" were responsible for on-field security. When pressed, he said, "Ask Jerry Reinsdorf...... not me." that was a lame response from hizzoner

Unless it rains . As for the mope being a Cub fan, take this for what it's worth..... Steve Dahl, on 105.9 WCKG, read a news item attributed to ESPN where the dickweeds fiance stated that her soon-to-be-husband is a Cubs fan She was on the news as well. Jerry Springer people enjoying their moment in the sun

congratulations! Did you go? It is a thrill to see your school win an NCAA title - my college alma mater won 5 in Div III basketball and it is a treat - why didn't you tell us sooner?
-
maybe we need to ban these type of people from the park. (only 90% kidding)
-
No, they would not find a neutral site, or play at KC. If they decided not to play the MLB would back their decision...then probably send somebody to see what the Sox are doing to beef up security, then if they are satisfied they would tell the Royals to play again, and any games missed during the process would be made up at the Cell later. bingo
