  1. Ozzie telling a ghost story. Lol
  2. So the NBA Schedule just came out. Any Bulls fans who were also considering going to spring training -they play in Phoenix Friday March 18th. Sox play the Cubs same day.
  3. The normal route I-65 South will take you right through the Mammoth Cave area in Kentucky. No detour needed. Highly recommend checking it out.
  4. Someone give Howard Ankin a call for a consult
  5. I blame @maloney.adam for starting the original game thread
  6. I work in the insurance industry. Have seen people get DUI's on scooters, golf carts, boats, you name it.
  7. Fuck the astros, fuck the umps, and fuck the Twins of course.
  8. Sorry mom, I was just repeating what dad said.
  9. Lol going by the mouth I think he said "God Damn it, fucking piece of shit"
  10. Agreed. Don't mean to derail this thread saying MLB players need to speak English, was just trying to commend Eloy on what is clearly something he worked on.
  11. It's just anecdotal. That was probably a bad way to say it. What I mean is that Eloy seems to be trying and succeeding at a much more rapid pace learning English than other players i've seen over recent years (including non players like Ozzie)
  12. I had a conversation with my coworker today when we were watching the pregame show. We both noticed it immediately and were really impressed. Many Hispanic/foreign players either refuse or just don't try to learn English but it is clear Eloy has worked on it over the past 6+ months. Great for him and it only broadens his horizons going forward.
  13. Oh yea and Abreu quietly #1 in RBI leaderboard. Sorry @ron883
  14. Great win! Bassitt: Hope he's ok. So tough to see that. ReyLo: Is he great again? What a performance and his numbers since coming back are nutty. Vaughn: If he keeps this up the last 6 weeks of the season he is a legitimate candidate for Rookie of the Year. Eloy: Someone please check the math but I think he would be on pace for a 9+ WAR full season since he's come back.
  15. Thank God! man was that scary. Wishing him the best
  16. Maybe I'm a soft pussy but I'm not celebrating Vaughns hit RN. oof.
  17. Ok thanks for the info. I was planning on taking full advantage of the full bar and buffet. (Would put a substantial dent in the ticket price, more than half). When you say the RF club lounge do you mean the one on the suite level overlooking the field? If so that's quite a walk every time you want a drink or food...
  18. Has anyone ever sat in the Scout Seats? If so how was the experience? I was thinking about pulling the trigger soon. (I see tickets in the $250-$300 range on stubhub)

  20. He has been trending better in terms of bookie odds to win it. Currently 4th behind Arozarena, Adolis Garcia, and Luis Garcia. He was 20 to 1 when I bet him March 3rd. Dropped lower the first couple months of the season. A few weeks ago down to 15 to 1 and as of today 10 to 1.
