What? A post by Critic with no comment on Orton in green???
-
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Feb 17, 2008 -> 02:25 PM) Didnt Orton already have his chance to end Flair's career? Yeah, I'm not saying it will be him, but if it is a young guy, it should be Orton with the "Legend Killer" gimic. I still think it will be HBK at WM. But than I heard HBK vs. Hardy at WM. Who knows? It will be more clear in the next week.

Michigan beats Ohio State! Been a few years since I could type that! -
If Kennedy beats Flair, I will Riot! If a younger wrestler is to end Flairs career for a boost, it should be Orton. I have really soured on Kennedy where I don't care for him and if he was released, I would shrug it off.

QUOTE(farmteam @ Feb 17, 2008 -> 03:34 AM) Was the EC-NT game competitive? That one sounded like the best matchup. It was tied at 44 going into the 4th, but than it was all EC has they hit a couple of 3's to start the 4th. Deshawn Scott for EC is a horse down low and they have a couple of good guards. Garcia is a good player but didn't have the best game. Plays outside a lot. -

QUOTE(fathom @ Feb 16, 2008 -> 11:28 PM) Got the chance to see Richmond/Shumpert/etc. tonight. Shumpert didn't force anything tonight, and ended up with a quiet game. I've seen him play quite a few times this year, and I'll think he'll be a very good combo guard for GT. Now, I had never seen Richmond play before, so I was quite shocked. He was nowhere near as good as I thought he'd be. He had about 15 pts, and most were on easy layups or bail-out free throws. He only made one jump shot I can remember. Now, the real story starts with his attitude. I've never seen a worse display of character shown by one kid ever in my sports viewing life. He seems to hate his teammates, and they seem to hate him. The entire group I was around was rooting big time against him just do to being such an asshole on the court. He almost got into numerous fights, and his sarcastic cheering on a hard foul against Shumpert was pathetic. Even the refs were laughing at how much of an ass he was acting like. I heard some Waukegan parents state that they can't wait for him to leave the program, which will likely happen after this year. Richmond's dad also walked around like he owned the place. I'll be honest, Rossi on New Trier PLAYED better than Richmond did (both sophs). Yeah, not a lot of kids on the team like Richmond at all. He was also very lazy getting back on defense. I was shocked when he actually hit that one jumper. Not a very good shooter yet. He will probably transfer to Evanston next year. His dad was given a media pass and you were right, he walked around like a king. Horrible crowd last night which was sad. I have been there the last 4 years and it is always sold out. I know the guy who runs it and they wanted 6 teams before these match ups. Colin Nickerson is #30 for Waukegan. Just a junior and is automatic from mid range. I'd like to know who reported Richmond had 8 assists. No way he had that many. -
I used OLT.com. $8 and very easy. I filled out my tax sheet wrong last year when I got hired and have to actually pay in. Sigh.

QUOTE(JuiceCruz16 @ Feb 15, 2008 -> 11:37 AM) I will be at the Purdue/ N'western game Saturday. I'll also be sticking around to see the high school matchups at Welsh-Ryan, mainly to root on my E.C. Central Cardinals that evening. Any N'western alum/students who have some suggestions for a place to grab a drink or two and a quick meal while I'm near the arena. I'm going to Welsh Ryan Sat night as well. The match ups aren't as big as they have been in the past but usually a fun event none the less. -
Every year, I have the same two questions about taxes. I never learn. 1. Can I file my federal online somewhere? 2. I file my do my federal before state, correct?

QUOTE(The Critic @ Feb 14, 2008 -> 07:37 PM) Another steaming turd coming up from Jack Black. "Be Kind, Rewind". Ugh. It's made by Michel Gondry, who did Spotless Mind. Never know. I don't think the movie will be as simple as the trailer makes it.

WWE tinkering with history... Survivor Series ’00: vs. Triple H – This match ranks only behind the Undertaker vs. Yokozuna match at Royal Rumble ’94 as the stupidest ending to a match in WWE history. Thankfully, this is both the first and last time we ever got to hear the inner thoughts of the wrestlers during a match. However, that is not the big story about this match on the DVD. **For those that don’t know, Chris Benoit played a role in getting the action from inside of the arena to the parking lot. When these segments happen, a logo from the Surivor Series is shown and the match skips to a part without him. That happens twice during this match.

SIU 2.3 secs away from knocking of Drake at the Arena. Of course Matt Shaw can't make a free throw to extend it to 4. SIU up 3. Justin should storm the floor if we win. Ha -

How did Maryland beat UNC? They turn the ball over a LOT and can't make jumpers. At least tonight. -

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Feb 12, 2008 -> 11:54 PM) Big Brother has to be one of the dumbest shows on TV. The stupid challenges are assinine and anyone watching that show should have their intelligence questioned.... including me! I have no idea why I watch it, but I have the past 2 or 3 seasons. I like the drama, plus the whole thing about it happening right now and not taped like Survivor and stuff in intriguing to me. I've watched every season since 1, sue me.

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Feb 12, 2008 -> 08:03 PM) I don't think it's a bad show, I just never got into it. It should be interesting to see someone I know though. Which one? I was digging Jen til I noticed she went to Ohio State.
