  1. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Feb 12, 2008 -> 08:00 PM) sadly I'm watching Big Brother this season. I went to middle and high school with one of the girls on there though. I love Big Brother. Sorry.
  2. I know we don't talk about chick ball, but Rutgers got royally screwed against Tennessee tonight.
  3. I know I said I thought Venom was the hottest, but I am on the Crush bandwagon.
  4. Two letters and a number, P-S-3
  5. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 10, 2008 -> 04:50 PM) Hey Brian, did u you enjoy the SIU game last night? I didn't get to see it. That is why I wanted you to send me scores.
  6. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Feb 10, 2008 -> 04:11 PM) Michigan picks up another football commitment today in Montavious Odoms a 3-star WR from Florida. He did not sign on NSD and was reportedly headed to Miami on a track scholarship, somehow being able to play football for the 'Canes as well. He's decided to go to Michigan and is sending his LOI in today. He'll play slot receiver for the Wolverines and is a speedster. Too bad we have nobody to throw the ball to him yet.
  7. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 9, 2008 -> 11:35 PM) Bruce Weber can't even get it right when he gets a top 10 national recruit apparently. Rumblings have been out of the north suburbs all year (including even from Warren homer Brian of these very boards) that Jereme Richmond is a cancer. While I have refused to believe it, tonight made me a believer. Richmond is out for mysterious *cough BULL s*** /cough* reasons tonight after a blowup in the locker room after losing to Evanston earlier this week, and low and behold, Waukegan plays it's best game all year and beats an outstanding North Chicago squad. Just freaking wonderful, ugh. Ha, Never really been called a Warren homer, but I like it. Alma mater and all. I cover high school sports in Lake County and have seen over a dozen Waukegan games. I don't blame you for not believing me because seeing is believing. What makes the blow up after the game worse is that Bruce Weber went to the locker room after the game to say Hi, opened the door, heard and saw Richmond screaming, turned around and left. Richmond has a lot of growing up and improving to do if he ever wants to be successful at the next level. Trust me when I say that he can't create his own shot, can't drive to the bucket and can NOT make a jump shot. Things that he can improve on. I'm not taking Jereme's side, but put yourself in his shoes. Who here had a full ride to college and their future in control as a freshmen in high school? Not me.
  8. Got poked in the eye pretty bad playing ball this morning. Now feels like something is stuck in there and it's like I have gunk in there. Very annoying.
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Feb 9, 2008 -> 10:41 AM) I've heard a lot of concerning comments made regarding his attitude this season. It got pretty bad after the game last night. That is all I am saying. Richmond's Waukegan team will be playing at Welsh Ryan next Saturday against Iman Shumpert and Oak Park-River Forest. It is game 1 of a double header. 2nd game is New Trier vs. East Chicago Central from Indiana. It's a pretty cool event every year there.
  10. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Feb 8, 2008 -> 08:03 PM) Javon Walker is being released. Um, yes Bears, yes. f***ing let Berrian walk and pick up Walker. No thanks. Javon Walker sucks and is a clubhouse cancer.
  11. Bruce Weber was on hand to watch Jereme Richmond disappear in the 4th quarter as Waukegan lost to Evanston 45-32. Richmond right now would fit in with Illinois. Can't hit a jumper and is 50% from the free throw line. Also loves yelling at his teammates and coach.

    LOST!!!!

QUOTE(juddling @ Feb 8, 2008 -> 11:38 AM) Also...did anyone notice that it was Fisher Stevens voice coming over phone. He can be a creepy actor when need be and should be great (as usual) when he finalyy shows up on the Lost landascape I need him to say "Johnny 5! You're alive!" over the phone in an Indian accent.
  13. Pruitt is lucky the ref didn't call that foul on the heave.
  14. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 7, 2008 -> 10:15 PM) oh my gosh DJ White pushed McCamey after they bumped OMGz!@! WHarris1, I heard you were committed to post on WSI and then scorned them for us! THEY HATE YOU!@#!$
  15. I like Reese Davis. Seems like a likable guy, but he just doesn't have the voice for play by play IMO. No excitement in the last 10 minutes of game time.
  16. Earl and Scrubs need to come back NOW!!!
  17. Who is worse at hitting free throws when it matters most? Illinois or SIU?
  18. Duke really outplayed UNC tonight. Even if Lawson played, I don't think Duke would of lost unless Lawson got out on some of those shooters and stopped penetration.
  19. QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 09:25 PM) You cannot live and die by the 3. Tonight they can because right now, UNC can't get anything to fall and are turning the ball over.
  20. I've really underrated Hansborough. I don't see him much but he is a great finisher at the college level. He will not be able to play in the NBA though. Duke raining 3's.
  21. QUOTE(The Critic @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 08:22 PM) ...and THIS is why you can't be a writer for the WW - your story would be ENTERTAINING!!! I would have a protege picked out before the WM match and have the guy come in after the low blow and just DESTROY Michaels. I'm trying to think of a decent wrestler who's dismal on the mic - that's the kind of guy who'd really benefit from having Flair as his manager. The more I think of Flair as a heel manager, the more I like it - he could be the new Heenan. As much as I loved Heenan, Flair could be better than Heenan was as a manager. You would need someone to be able to feud with HBK and be believable....Jeff Hardy heel turn? Anyone? Hardy is so over right now, they can't do that.
  22. Wouldn't it be poetic if HBK beats Flair at WM, ends his career, they have that hug, waves goodbye, cries...than low blows HBK. WOOOOO!
