I forgot how awesome "Rounders" is.
  3. For some reason, coming home and seeing Kansas lose puts a smile on my face. No offense, Jimbo. I'm just bitter.
  4. QUOTE(Felix @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 07:51 PM) I'm going to Michigan tomorrow night (really, Thursday morning, but we're leaving at 1 AM) for the Gophers' Thursday night game there. I can't wait, as I've never been to the campus before. It should be a blast, especially if we can actually win a game for a change Muck Fichigan! If you don't beat Michigan, you suck. They are so bad.

    LOST!!!!

For a Lost novice, what happened with the polar bears and that black smoke?
  6. I'd trust the Twins in how they evaluate prospects. I'm sure the guys they get will develop and kill us.
  7. QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 12:40 PM) Does crazy count? Very much so. What was it that George Costanza said, "It's not a lie, if you believe it."
  8. Finally got to watch this documentary on the 2004 Tsunami on the History Channel. I never really understood what caused it but the digital animation showing that was well done. The camcorder footage is absolutely frightening. I still can not comprehend what happened. 200,000 people dead. Unreal.

  10. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 01:49 PM) no. What's the difference?
  11. I have NEVER used the word "Finna", just for the record.
  12. QUOTE(shipps @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 10:56 AM) To be honest even if he past a lie detector test I would still think he did it.Lie detector tests are ancient and obsolete if you ask me. And when put on some people who don't show emotion or have a certain mentality, can be highly inaccurate.
  13. "Moment of Truth" to Catch a Killer? Posted Jan 29th 2008 10:41AM by TMZ Staff A well-placed source tells TMZ that reps for suspected wife killer Drew Peterson have contacted the producers of the new show "Moment of Truth," asking to hookup their client to a lie detector test on national television. Peterson's wife Stacey has been missing and presumed dead since last October. Peterson's third wife, Kathleen Savio, was found dead in a bathtub in March 2004. At the time, her death was ruled accidental, but since Stacey's disappearance, Savio's body was exhumed for forensic examination and officials determined her death to be a "homicide staged to look like an accident." Stacey's family has continually asked Drew to submit to a lie detector test -- which he has repeatedly refused to do, until now. Peterson denies any involvement in Stacey's disappearance, insisting she left him for another man.
  14. In the past week, the Writers and Producer have agreed on little things. Hopefully it breaks through in the next week or so and they get going.
  15. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 09:40 AM) Good stuff. The sooner he's out of the AL Central, the better. I pray he winds up on the Mets and is out of the AL for the remainder of his career! Santana in the NL... under 2 era? My thoughts exactly. Come on Mets!
  16. QUOTE(BearSox @ Jan 28, 2008 -> 10:58 PM) I'm still not sold on MLB 2k8, their previous 2 games have sucked balls. But hopefully what's his face (guy who turned MVP into the greatest baseball game ever, who's name I forget) works some more magic in year 2 with 2k8. Haven't gotten a new baseball game since they stopped making MVP games. Bastards!
  17. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jan 29, 2008 -> 12:45 AM) Has anyone ever done High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)? If you haven't, google it and take it under consideration. I'm in the peculiar position of training to gain weight, but meanwhile burning excess fat. I didn't want to abandon cardio workouts in the process, either. So I found HIIT and decided to try it out tonight since the temperature outside was around 40. And let me just say, it knocks the living hell out of you. The concept behind the entire program is running at maximum effort for a short period of time, walking for several minutes, then repeating the process. I would run as fast as I could for 15 seconds and rest for roughly two minutes. It seemed fairly easy in the beginning. After about set four I could no longer run at 100%, but I trudged along anyways. Then the maximum effort decreased, and the breaks became longer than two minutes. By the time I got to my 8th set I was about to pass out. Couldn't do anymore. I do something similar sometimes on a treadmill. Run for 3 minutes than walk for 2 minutes. Do that for about 30 minutes. Usually by the 20 minute mark my legs are like jello.
  18. QUOTE(3E8 @ Jan 28, 2008 -> 09:11 PM) You can watch all 3 seasons any episodes in HD for free and I love abc for that My browser keeps freezing when I tried this. I just wanted to watch the last two of last season.
  19. QUOTE(Sonik22 @ Jan 28, 2008 -> 09:57 PM) Myspace is ghey. My Facebook Aren't they the same thing pretty much?
  20. I listen to the Philly Crowd chant stuff at Cena, than at the break, I flip on the State of the Union Address wishing Bush was doing his speech in front of the Philly Crowd.
  21. QUOTE(fathom @ Jan 28, 2008 -> 12:49 PM) Anyone know where I can see video of Cena from last night?
  22. QUOTE(The Critic @ Jan 28, 2008 -> 06:13 PM) So you had your own Rumble, and you were eliminated?
  23. QUOTE(Shadows @ Jan 27, 2008 -> 11:35 PM) I didnt even see the Rumble, but when I clicked this thread to read what happened and saw "I didnt miss him at all" I was like MOTHER f***ER it better not be Cena.. so lame If I didn't watch it and saw it online, I would of had the same reaction, but it came off pretty cool. Supposedly he starts a 5 month movie shoot in the next few weeks so maybe he won't be around too long now. And the WrestleMania commercial they aired, awful. Except for Kelly Kelly.
