  1. Nobody should show up. Students, press, nobody. Let him talk to an empty room.
  2. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Sep 23, 2007 -> 08:20 PM) http://newsok.com/article/3131543 Doesn't work.
  3. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 23, 2007 -> 10:41 PM) THe more I think about it the more Rex needs to be back. Michaels and Madden brought up a good point and the thing is if you get rid of Rex you are quitting for good on him and going to Griese who is just a stopgap solution (and that my be enough) but this early in the season I Think you still have to see Grossman (I would completely give up on him if it weren't for so many other guys playing so badly around him and a lot of the things Rex has messed up on actually have been due to the other guys and not really him). Do you mean bring Rex back next year and re-sign him? I was thinking today, when he finally got healthy a few years ago and played at the end of the year when we lost to Carolina, he looked so promising. He had confidence and a strong arm and would wing the ball all over. It seems that so much was put into his head that he wasn;t used to like the check downs, don't do too much. You can't teach an old dog new tricks, he was brought up in the fun and gun. Maybe the Bears are trying to turn him into a QB he isn't? I don't know. I'm just frustrated and rambling and now gonna go watch the Family Guy season premiere.
  4. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Sep 23, 2007 -> 10:29 PM) As for tonight, I'm all for benching Berrian. This WR corp is a joke and gets zero separation. Really? I see Berrian getting seperation consistently, just a matter if he can hold onto the ball or not.
  5. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 23, 2007 -> 10:26 PM) As far as Benson, he has no history of fumbles and this wasn't a fumble (yes it was on the stat sheet but it WAS NOT A f***ING FUMBLE). Problem is the past couple games they have happened. I thought the refs whistled the play dead when the ball came out. If it wasn't a fumble, the refs would of saw it on the challenge. I couldn't tell. Cedric needs to be stronger with the ball, no matter what.
  6. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 23, 2007 -> 10:23 PM) The team doesn't believe Bradley can stay healthy if he gets more than a few snaps at wide receiver every game. That's why he's not out there. So he can stay healthy by not playing? What a waste of an early 2nd round pick if that is the mentality. Moose has looked horrible out there. No reason Bradley shouldn't be playing.
  7. I have defended Rex in the past, he handles himself like a man, but I can't support him anymore. Not everything was his fault tonight (bad tackling and dropped passes and fumbles) but he hasn't really improved and is too inconsistent.

    Ok, now I get it.

    What?
  10. I'm with fathom. Next year with this line up, and hopefully a healthy Sheets, an experienced Gallardo, and a better Capuano, they can be back near the top.
  11. Congrats to the Tribe and Good Luck.
  12. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Sep 23, 2007 -> 07:40 PM) I'm glad the bears finally decided that Hester was a weapon on the end-around (even if you don't hand him the ball)... I've been asking for it since about week 8 last season. Agreed. That is how you use him as a decoy, not by just putting him on the field.
  13. Bears. http://www.talkbears.com/forums/index.php?...amp;#entry22162
  14. The internet got confused, it was Pratt and Flash, the two Soxtalk Icons, who had a fling when they finally met.
  15. I hate Mike Patrick. Georgia misses a 48 yard FG to win it. The wind was heavy diagonally and it pushes it wide left and he screams his stupid line, "Can you believe this?" STFU. Not like it was blocked or he missed a 20 yarder. Damn I am irritated easily today.
  16. 'Bama ties Georgia at 20 with a minute left. For some reason, I REALLY want Georgia to win. I think Sabean rubs me the wrong way because the way he just left Miami.
  17. Salukis beating Arkansas.....Pine Bluff.
  18. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Sep 22, 2007 -> 06:11 AM) I like Michigan as well, but I am a little biased. How often is Michigan a dog in the Big House? Couple that with the fact they have not lost to Penn St since 1996 and they still have lots to prove after the first two weeks and I think you have a solid victory for the Big Blue. The types of teams that kill Michigan are the ones with mobile QB's. PSU doesn't have that so I actually feel confident Michigan can win, but don't count anything out this year.
  19. With all that is wrong in the world, it is hard for me to believe that the launching of a satelite started so much. Just goes to show how different it was for me growing up compared to those 50 years ago.
  20. Howry throws Dunn 3 fastballs down the middle and all he does is foul them off before flying out.
  21. Pittsburgh has actually been playing spoiler lately.
  22. Umps missed it. That was a catch.
