I pre-ordered the Stone Cold DVD that comes out next month. I'm kind of interested in the Ladder Match DVD but I have seen all those already.

QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 3, 2007 -> 08:28 PM) Carlos Marmol has been doing his best K-Rod impersonation lately. This Cubs team is pretty damn good right now. Yeah, when Zambrano was removed, I was like, "Sweet! Bullpen implosion!", than saw Marmol come in. His sliders are sick.

QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 3, 2007 -> 07:38 PM) Dye's running better today than he has in a month. Too bad he still can't hit.

Millar is 99% pull. All you have to do is just keep it away and he's an easy out.

QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jul 3, 2007 -> 01:53 PM) Does anything suck more than nailing a job interview for a position that you really want....only to find out you didn't get the job. *sigh* Been there, done that. Even more so when it is a job you know you will excel at.

A friend of Hawk Harrelson's plays golf at a course where my dad works and they always talk Sox. He told my dad that Ozzie wants his son, who the Sox just drafted, to be called up already and play SS....seriously.

RVD's contract quietly expired on Saturday.

QUOTE(Soxfest @ Jul 2, 2007 -> 10:39 PM) They were protecting Mr. Kennedy tonight he must need a little more time to heal. Exactly. Usually when two faces are going to fight for a title, wouldn't they shake hands at the contract signing. Turn Lashley Heel and give him AAE as a manager!

Has she ever heard of make up? Yikes. /runs away

Jenks never should of had to come in the game. Bukvich is just the lesser of 3 evils with Aardsma and MacDougal.
-
QUOTE(TheBigHurt @ Jul 2, 2007 -> 09:57 PM) Bukvich and Jenks turn it into a clusterf*** (BTW, I've not been a Jenks fan since he pretty much lost his velocity and effectiveness. The fact he's now an "All-Star" actually makes me chuckle a bit). His numbers are still pretty good and despite his velocity down, he still gets people out most of the time.

That is my biggest fear that we trade Buehrle and in return get some players the other team just wants to get rid of.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 2, 2007 -> 10:01 AM) You didn't f'n ask me, but IMO there was no f'n deal for f'n JD on any f'n table. F'n A!

I bet this game goes about an hour and 50 minutes.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 1, 2007 -> 02:21 PM) I saw DieHard last night and I must say that was the best die hard movie yet. Freaking fantastic. Just exactly what I like when I go to a movie expecting to see an action movie. It was just an all around entertaining action flick that left me wide awake when the movie ended around 2 AM. I definitely recommend it. I'm not gonna say it is the best, but I thought it was sweet as well. During the first half hour, I was like, "This is gonna suck. The guy from the Mac commerical is pissing me off. Doesn't feel like a Die Hard movie." But that all changed fast.

Throwbacks? Doug Eddings behind the plate...YES!

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jul 1, 2007 -> 12:37 PM) Saw "Sicko" last night. Interesting film, had some funny moments, had the usual cherry-picking of facts by Moore. He is very good at putting a movie together and splicing in funny clips, I have to give that to him. The funniest thing to me was the ovation the audience gave the film at the end. I can never understand why someone'd clap at a movie screen. Glad nobody clapped after the showing I was at. I liked it and found it interesting.

Ugh, Get Mack out of their. Cintron over Uribe is the lesser of 2 evils. Terrero gives us some energy out there.

Thought Ozzie would be PHing Cintron for Iguchi for sure.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 30, 2007 -> 04:02 PM) You pick option C and draft Francisco Cordero, J.J. Putz, and Kevin Gregg before the season in all 4 of your yahoo leagues like I did . I don't think Kevin Gregg was a closer option at the beginning of the year. 3 guys had to go down for him to get the spot.
