  1. Ross is gonna make something happen here.
  2. Just an unfortunate pitch to try a hit and run.
  3. JD makes strong throws to home but gets to the ball so slowly it seems.
  4. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 06:26 PM) count's throwing over the top instead of slinging from the side... He mixes if up the 2nd time around the order.
  5. 0-0, Yanks/Tigers, top 2
  6. Unintentional intentional walk to Pronk?
  7. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 06:11 PM) With the new nose, Ashlee > Jessica. She had a nose job, huh? That was her worst feature. I still prefer Jess, so to each his own. They both have nice boobs.
  8. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 06:10 PM) Funny how I have the best Simpson avatar in the thread. LoL, I implemented Jessica yesterday to counter your Ashlee.
  9. Gooch doubles, 2nd and 3rd, no outs! They still booing Thome? What trash!
  10. Did DJ lose his luggage or something? Judging by that last comment?
  11. It was 90 degrees this week and I get a frickin head cold. The humanity! Why do I enjoy watching these Real World/Road Rules challenge shows? I hate all these people. Hot straight girls making out is the new extasy. Everyone does it. Except I never did "X". I was just trying to make a clever analogy.
  12. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ May 31, 2006 -> 10:53 PM) Carmel is pretty damn good. Can't believe Lyons Township lost in state either. Yes they are. Matt Diedrich, their ace is set to go in the sectional final against Stevenson. Mundelein is tough though. Good arms. Diedrich is going to Northwestern on a full ride. He is 9-0 this season with a no-no under his belt. ERA is miniscule. Soft tossing lefty. Doesn't throw hard but has awesome control.
  13. Wow, Mundelein upsets Stevenson 2-1 in the sectional semifinal. I was looking forward to a Carmer/Stevenson matchup, but not happening. Carmel plays Grayslake tomorrow afternoon.

QUOTE(Steff @ May 30, 2006 -> 10:38 AM) Girls, IMO, are easier to train. Boys (my step daughter has 2) are a more agressive and territorial, and generally don't seem to be as friendly. Girls also didn't have an attitude change after being fixed (their boys did). Though I have to say I also believe it all depends on the dog and how you as an owner raise them. So when relating dogs to humans, it is the opposite behavior for the respective sexes?
  15. Great America in Gurnee will never drop prices. I remember when I was in Jr. High, I got a season pass for $60. I think it is like $50 a person for a dat now. I also remember when they sold "Twickets" for $1 to come back the next day, believe they are up towards $20 now.

  17. Mark Prior gave up three runs and four hits in two innings Monday in his start for Single-A Peoria. Prior struck out three while throwing 44 pitches. He was working in the 80s for the most part, but he did touch 90 mph in the second inning. "In these type of situations you're looking more for how your execution was, not so much what the outcome is," Prior said. "My main priority was to throw strikes and get ahead of guys predominantly with fastballs." Prior will make at least two more rehab starts before coming off the disabled list. May. 29 - 8:49 pm et

QUOTE(Frankensteiner @ May 27, 2006 -> 07:10 PM) So who's the starting CF? Anderson can't hit and Mackowiak can't field. I'd stick with Anderson though and hope he gets out of his funk. There's really no use in playing Mackowiak because we already know he's not a viable CF option. Finley's having an OK season for a 41 year old man: .265/.344/.434. I'd take that from my #9 hitter. I'm all for leaving Anderson out in CF. He's a rookie. Let him play. Uribe is the one pissing me off. He is s*** without his defense and todya he throws another DP ball away and than can't bunt. I hope Cintron is playing tomorrow.
  21. Just got home, so didn't read thread. Anyone else think Ryan was balking the entire time JD was on 1st in the 10th? 3 pitches in a row he never once came to a complete stop in the stretch.
  22. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 26, 2006 -> 07:24 PM) Someone take away these people's computers.
  23. Why worry about what Detroit is doing? We can't control that now.
  24. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 26, 2006 -> 06:38 PM) Come on Brian, it's time to get your bat out of your ass. Nope. So that's why I'm waking funny.
