Who would of thought that Michigan vs. Northwestern would be such a big game next week. Northwestern will whoop up on Michigan.

Crush 'Em!

QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Oct 21, 2005 -> 10:16 PM) There has to be a ying to your blatent homerism yang. This Michigan team is among the worst in my memory, but you'd never admit that. After all, they played the greatest college football game in the history of the universe last week. I can't say they are the worst. They are VERY inconsistent and frustrating to watch at times. I guess saying they are the worst in recent memory makes sense since they have been at or near the top of the Big 10 for the past decade. I don't see them winning at Iowa for obvious reasons. It's sad that a team with so many offensive weapons struggles. Maybe Carr will start drafting defense soon.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 12:18 AM) Fair weather fan.

Warren and Stevenson were tied at 21 after a TD pass from Stevenson with 24 secs left and went to Overtime. Stevenson got the ball first and ran it in on 3 plays and added the extra point to make it 28-21. First play for Warren was an out pass to Marcus Lewis for the quick strike, extra point added made it 28-28 going to a 2nd OT. Incidently, High School overtime is like college, only the ball is on the 10 instead of the 25. Warren got the ball first in 2OT and on the first play threw a TD pass to Marcus Lewis again. Extra point BLOCKED by Stevenson. Stevenson's possession was 3rd and Goal on the 5. The ran a play out of the T formation it looked like. They faked a hand off to there star RB and everyone fell for it as the ball was actually handed off to another back and he ran in untouched. The whole place was fooled. Extra point was good and Stevenson knocked off Warren 35-34, in one of the greatest High School football games I have witnessed. These two school could play again in two weeks and it will be AT Stevenson if it happens cuz of tonight's actions. I wouldn't be surprised if either school wins 8A.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 20, 2005 -> 09:58 PM) I expect some unbiast announcing. :rolly I'd expect something like, "Stevenson is good, but they still suck donkey balls."

Who's the poindexter in the Sox hooded sweatshirt?

Biggest game in 8A, possibly ever. Undefeated Warren vs. Undefeated Stevenson in Gurnee. Winner could get #1 seed for playoffs next week. I had to go to the field to do some equipment tests and it is huge. Lots of seats added, plus the home Warren side was redone over the summer and is huge. Should be a classic. Comcast is taping it as their Game of the Week to air next week and it will be LIVE on WKRS 1220 AM in Lake County.

QUOTE(Steff @ Oct 20, 2005 -> 09:37 AM) Weather doesn't look so good.. Party Pooper.

Reinsdorf hates ESPN 1000.

QUOTE(Antonio Osuna @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 09:50 PM) Astros in 7, please. I don't want to face Pujols. I really don't want to face Pettite-Oswalt-Clemens-Lidge. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

This could absolutely demoralize Houston. I won't be surprised if the Cards take the 2 at home. Wow, I'm still stunned at what I witnessed.

QUOTE(Brian @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 09:41 PM) Izzy was PH for, who will close this? Nevermind. Forgot about the double switch the inning before.

QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 09:40 PM) Pujols and Berkman's homers both barely made it out of the park. Pujols hit the train tracks, what are you talking about?

Izzy was PH for, who will close this? FOX named Berkman player of the game than BOOM!

Did that just happen?

I got a AL Champs t-shirts from Sports Authority in Gurnee Mills. Place was packed and stuff flying off the shelves. Was rather surreal.

Texsox will probably go.

Not sure if this has been talked about, but does anyone have a DVD or good VHS copy of last nights game? I think I'm gonna go buy a bunch of tapes this week and tape every game of the World Series.

QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 09:10 PM) I would have left him in. He's your ace. It's not like there is a 7th inning guy better off to face switch-hitting Berkman AGreed. Cardinals bullpen is garbage. That short porch is garbage. Wish MLB would make these parks be at least 330 down the lines.

And I liked Scream 2.

Took me awhile to get in. Cheers!!!!!!!

QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 05:43 PM) Actually, a movie I would like to see a sequel to is From Dusk till Dawn. I loved the cheesy violence in it. They've made like 3 straight to video ones. Rebecca Gayheart is in one and Tiffani Amber Theissen is in another.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 06:15 PM) So when is this game going to start, 11 central? 7:30, just like the rest of em. :headshake

Good slide and Pujols could of been safe
