QUOTE(Mplssoxfan @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 04:49 PM) I didn't wade through the whole thread, but here goes: I'm a wee bit more aged than most of you, though. Julianne Moore is the goods.

I get calf and shin soreness a lot. Not sure if that is what you are experiencing. Usually goes away in a day or so. If it lingers for longer than a day or so, I'd get it checked out.
  5. Just got it today and haven't turned it on yet. I looked through the manual, probably only person to do that, and it looks confusing as hell with the new stuff.
  6. I do know that Dan Patrick's radio deal runs out at years end, so the 12-3 slot may go local soon which would be nice.
  7. How do you guys get the border like that?
  8. QUOTE(Fotop @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 10:21 PM) Now THAT's a Sig. Cheers. Thanks. Oh, you're not talking about mine?
  9. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 10:59 PM) I enjoy listening to them simply for entertainment value Me too. And why would someone say that they don't know a single Sox fan that listens to B&B? They are both Sox fans and have publicly said so.
  10. Think it copyright infringment if it is cut and paste here. It is just 100 words on how the Sox can win, saying they will only go as far as their pitching will take them cu the lineup isn't dominating. Has paragraphs for about 8 teams like that.
  11. Didn't he have two good starts before this vs. good teams. Why can't we get kids like this?
  12. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 09:03 PM) I have tickets for Wednesday. Buehrle vs Santana. I have absolutley no interest in going. I'll take em. SHould be a fun pitching match up to watch.
  13. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 08:51 PM) Well I just did a frame by frame on his fastball and it doesnt move that much from my angle. The two 94 mph fastballs that he threw Carl were down and in. Aka the sweet spot for a lefty. His head came off the ball as he swung hard at the pitch. He wanted to be a hero. Stand at the plate and have Rincon throw it, you'll probably see it move. I've sat behind home plate and have seen it. 96 mph at 60 feet 6 inches, how many frames do you get on your TIVO with that? Like 3?
  14. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 08:47 PM) And the third pitch was at 96. The other two straight 94 mph fastballs down the cock probably should of be hit. Easier said than done. It's not like Juan Rincon is some kind of slouch. His fastball moves.
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 08:46 PM) You hear that sound? It's the Joe Crede for Gold Glove bandwagon coming to a screeching halt. How many misplays is that for Crede lately? But he deserves a pass cus he has a bad back, remember?
  16. QUOTE(Sox Hustler @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 08:43 PM) So I guess swinging for the fences is the only stragedy they have?? You don't know if they are swinging for the fences or not. When a guy is throwing 96 mph fastballs, you're gonna take hard swings.
  17. QUOTE(Sox Hustler @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 08:41 PM) Swing Swing Swing away and will come K K K. ...doesn't sound right but, you guys get me. If they take these pitches from Rincon, they are strikes anyway. Except Kong's 3rd strike.
  18. Konerko swinging at flies.
  19. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 08:37 PM) I don't know how smart that is. That's taking his game a complete 180. He went from #3 slot power hitter in Japan last year to leadoff hitter who's just supposed to get on. Plus while he's good at moving runners over, I don't think he's that great at getting on base for other guys. Give us a better option that Tadahito at lead off. He have nobody with a real good OBP now. May as well put someone there who can swing that bat and have good ABs.
  20. 3 ABs and 3 full counts for Uribe tonight. He looks decent as a #2 hitter.
  21. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 08:32 PM) Everett has got to DH. He's still not 100 percent. True, Wasn't sure if ANderson plays RF or LF or both.
  22. QUOTE(WhiteSox311 @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 08:32 PM) how did griffey clear waivers when our offense blows this much dong. If we picked up Griffey, we would take his WHOLE contract. If a trade is being negotiated, Cincy is probably being talked into taking some of the money.
  23. My line up tomorrow. Iguchi 2B Uribe SS Everett LF Konerko 1B Dye DH Rowand CF AJ C Anderson RF Crede 3B Mix and match Anderson, Dye, and Everett for OF or DH.
  24. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 07:48 PM) f***ing Cora! Why would you send him there? Ford has a fantastic arm, and that was a shot to the outfield. The chances of Crede scoring there were very below average. Yup, ball was hit WAY too hard to send Crede, especially with our #3 and best clutch hitter up next.
  25. I'm amazed how the lead off broken bat single rattled Jose after 3 near flawless innings.
