Dislocated Knee-Cap
I've ripped cartilage in both knees and had surgery on both but never dislocated my knee cap. Sounds pleasant.

Indians/Twins Updates
QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 23, 2005 -> 09:11 PM) If you haven't seen the non-balk call.....DONT! It will just piss you off. Just saw it and Pinella should of gone off MORE on the umps. That was ludicrous. Never even came to a complete set. May of been the worst non-balk call ever, if there is such a thing.

Today is the day--8/21/05 Game Thread
QUOTE(elrockinMT @ Aug 21, 2005 -> 02:52 PM) I think the kid Anderson was overmatched by this here Johnson guy. 3-2 count and you get caught looking at strike 3. Protect the plate youngster! WGN had the stupid behind the plate cam. I couldn't tell if it was a strike or not.

Sox v. Yanks 8/19/05 Official Game Thread
QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 19, 2005 -> 08:51 PM) Good news, the Yanks are throwing Randy Johnson on Sunday!!!! If we don't win tomorrow, we're looking at a very likely 9 game losing streak after facing RJ and Johan. Is it safe to say the sky is falling? Thought it was Jaret Wright. Oh well. He'd probably even shut us down.

Sox v. Yanks 8/19/05 Official Game Thread
If we get the tying run to the plate in the 9th, and Konerko does NOT PH. I'll be pissed. He needs to be a leader if that situation arises.

Look where AJ's head is during that swing! Walker, not trying to put heat on you, but can't you see it?

Sox v. Yanks 8/19/05 Official Game Thread
If Carl took every pitch in that squence, he would of been on 1st. I know, I know, if it got to 2-0, he would of thrown a strike.

Sox v. Yanks 8/19/05 Official Game Thread
QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 19, 2005 -> 08:37 PM) Certainly not over any of those guys? Lawton is just as good as Pods offensively, and especially when Dye is struggling, he'd be a perfect back-up. Why can't Lawton be a DH? Is there some rule saying he has to play the field? Lawton is one of those guys who flies under the radar. His OBP is 1.00 higher than his BA at times. I'd take him in a second.
