QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Apr 18, 2013 -> 01:18 PM) UCONN is going through a university rebrand and the new jerseys are really nice for all their sports. Well, except the football helmet. This is rough. I actually kinda like those helmets.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 18, 2013 -> 07:24 AM) Those bastards never open the sewer gates in time. 4-5 inches of dirty water in basement. Took 30 minutes to fill up, 15 minutes to drain out when they opened up. I'm trying to remember if I heard my sump pump before I left for work. Pretty sure I did.

2012-2013 NBA thread
If Tyson stayed out of foul trouble and defended the rim like he did the title year with Dallas, the Knicks could take Miami to 6 or 7, but that's it. A Thunder/Heat II final would be the only shot at an actual series loss for them.

Embarrassing. All these guys should be voted out, but that won't happen.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 17, 2013 -> 05:09 PM) She's been on Mad Men and dramatic for 5 seasons already. How odd can it be? I'm aware but she rarely is on Mad Men. This past week may have been the most she's been on and a bigger part than any other episode she has been on.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Apr 17, 2013 -> 08:25 AM) I think the new Superman movie looks amazing. I really think they finally figured out how to make a Superman movie. The very first Superman with Reeve was great.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 16, 2013 -> 11:20 AM) I feel like Mad Men is just set on repeat, especially the Pete/Don storylines. Didn't we see the same type of scenes 2-3 seasons ago? Although the Trudy/Pete scene was pretty epic. I told my mom the same thing. The best stuff so far for me has been the Peggy work stuff.

Sorry Athomeboy. My cousin is married to a guy who is a manic depressive. He had tried suicide a few times and she tries to be supportive. I think she and the kids should leave him. You see stories on the news with parents snapping and hurting or even killing their kids. I've never had the desire to get married. I like having a gf but just never felt like going further than that.

QUOTE (qwerty @ Apr 16, 2013 -> 05:09 AM) In Lars and the Real Girl I would say he strayed from his typical mold. It is not a film for everyone it would seem, as the plot synopsis... alone is enough to make many run for the hills. I havent seen Lars. It is on Netflix stream so may try sometime. He is always straight faced, quiet, same droopy eyed look in everything it seems.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 09:43 PM) Checked out The Place Beyond the Pines last night. Well done although the latter third was a little weaker than the rest of the film. You're the 4th person to say the same thing. I'm just kinda tired of Ryan Gosling. Acts the same way in everything it seems.
