QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 19, 2009 -> 03:42 AM) I'd bet a lot of money that Bradley has a very, very good season. .850+ ops. Isn't .280 average and 25 homers a given?

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 19, 2009 -> 06:04 PM) Some crazy stuff in that Butler-Xavier game today. That sucked for Xavier. The clock keeper screwed up but can the refs really cancel the winning bucket? It's not their fault and you can't really count off 1.2 and then judge if the shot would of been in time or not. -
I think it is possible that by years end, Konerko could be the primary DH. Kotsay has shown he can play 1B just as well as Paulie.

Saw Lenzelle Smith put up 40 tonight. 5/5 from the free throw line. Two huge dunks. He is so much stronger than he was last year. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Dec 17, 2009 -> 09:14 PM) Richmond struggling with his jump shot tonight. I wonder if his hand is bothering because it has been a while since I have seen him shoot that poorly from the perimeter. He definitely got outplayed by Barnes but the rest of Ames is just dramatically better than Richmond's supporting cast. More talented, bigger, and hey play much more intelligent basketball. I thought Richmond played good D on Barnes though, most of Barnes points were second chance points and in transition of really bad passes. Waukegan's guards drive me nuts and I think they are really poorly coached as a team. They really don't run any sort of offense. Waukegan's assistant coach should be their head coach. He is the reason they were so good last year. Without him this year, they would be awful. His name is Tim Bowen, he has a track record up in Lake County before being abruptly fired by Grayslake Central over personal problems with a school board member. He should be back to a head coach next year somewhere. -
QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Dec 18, 2009 -> 01:41 PM) Looks like this season will be it for Scrubs. Can't say I'm surprised and I still maintain it shouldn't have ended with the perfect finale last season. http://tvbythenumbers.com/2009/12/18/repor...t=Google+Reader I don't think anyone will disagree that it should of ended last year. This past weeks episode was awful. I usually DVR it and re-watch during the week, but I just deleted this past weeks episode.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Dec 16, 2009 -> 08:44 PM) I knew it was a huge pick-up the second they announced it. But screw the Golden Globe, he should get another Emmy. Absolutely

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 16, 2009 -> 03:34 PM) Yes. You are way off. It was great, and completely different than Lost in Translation. Good to hear. I saw a different trailer for it in front of "Brothers" that made me more interested to see it. Will definitely catch it.

If anyone but Lithgow wins the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama, the awards show should be cancelled.

QUOTE (b-Rye @ Dec 15, 2009 -> 02:46 PM) Not much at all... career average about 70 times a year... he can still hit .300+ 25 HR 100RBI if healthy all year and at DH I think he can. I'd take him over Thome at this time in there careers. Can't strike out when most of the time you ground out on the first pitch that is in the dirt. Vlad doesn't have the bat speed he used to have. It would be annoying for me to watch him bat when he is really struggling.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Dec 15, 2009 -> 01:28 PM) We had the DSL. So the U-Verse is a completely different deal altogether? Yes. U-verse is there cable like system and has wireless internet through it. Much better than the DSL obviously. I love U-verse. If it gets MLB Network/Extra Innings next season, it will be the best option, IMO.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 15, 2009 -> 02:00 PM) Another example of a movie abusing the use of music. Note to director: You don't need to add sentimental music during every touching moment of the film. Sometimes silence is more effective. I didn't notice it. I would of liked more stuff in Afghanistan about how Sam turned into a nut job. I mean I know we saw the jist of it, but it was more interesting than Tommy and Grace's growing closer at home.

I would get so frustrated with watching Vlad bat every game.

'Brothers' was ok. Tobey was very good in it, but something was off for me. Ending was not satisfactory either.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Dec 14, 2009 -> 11:32 PM) When I had it at my previous apartment, We had to have a serviceman come out 3 times in a 6 month period to fix whatever problem seemed to happen with the internet. I'm glad you've been luckier, but I wouldn't go back. Do you have the DSL through the phone line or the wireless through U-Verse? We have the wireless through U-Verse so I'm assuming you guys may have the DSL.

I thought they would try and get Rock or Austin for Jan 4th when they go head to head with TNA for the first time.

He has his ups and downs and positives and negatives. I don't hate it, especially with LA paying a lot of the contract.

QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Dec 11, 2009 -> 08:14 AM) On next weeks episode of Jersey Shore: You just can't stop watching this clip. MTV has yanked the scene from the next episode. They just lost an extra million viewers or so.

Went and saw "A Christmas Carol" on the IMAX and 3D. It's visually awesome and I liked it a lot. I never read Dickens book, but the ending was different from anything I was familiar with.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 14, 2009 -> 08:48 PM) Dennis Miller tells Vince McMahon to his face that Bret Hart should guest GM RAW for a night, Vince storms off the stage in a huff. Real or a Work? Haven't seen that part yet, but probably a work. I don't think Miller knows who Bret Hart is or what his situation is with the company. P.S. I'm loving Dennis Miller so far.
