QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 7, 2009 -> 10:02 AM) Well so far I'm still alive for a playoff spot because of the bolded. Up by about 33 and need Rodgers to get less than that tonight. Hope the Ravens D is up for the challenge. I'm with ya on praying for the Baltimore D. Great news I just read was that Suggs is out tonight...Son of a B.... That mixed with I saw Yahoo! gave my opponent 2 points, taking away a Dallas Clark fumble. Now I am only up 2 with him having Crosby kicking tonight. As soo as he kicks a field goal, i'm turning the game off.

QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Dec 7, 2009 -> 10:31 AM) Still the only sport where you can go undefeated and not be the champ. College football has the most meaningful regular season. Love the last line. I have always hated that arguement that the regular season is a playoff. It's a joke and is why I don't get into it that much. -
All the "Ambassador Tony Dungy" stuff was annoying me for awhile. Is it possible he was a tad overrated as a coach? 12-0 under Caldwell. Don't get me wrong, I think Dungy's record as a coach speaks for itself, but can we stop looking at him for answers to everything in the NFL.

I say lock it up until something else pops up on the subject.

QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 6, 2009 -> 08:48 PM) This last episode was actually pretty good. I agree. Things finally moving along a bit. For a few episodes, it seemed nothing was getting accomplished.

Finally got around to watching FLASH FORWARD on DVR. Didn't realize it is on miatus until March. I'm not really into the show but am curious how it comes together.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Dec 6, 2009 -> 06:22 PM) So what happened Brian? I'm up 4 going into Monday Nights game, but the guy I am playing has Crosby kicking. Come on Raven Defense! I was down 129-56 heading into the afternoon games and am now up 133-129

QUOTE (zenryan @ Dec 6, 2009 -> 04:29 PM) In a rematch, yes. Boise is a fraud. They say they want to play big teams but only under 1 condition. They want them the first game of the season when they can prepare the entire offseason for one game and when the other team might not be clicking yet. Because the team Boise plays wouldn't have the whole offseason to prepare? Flawed logic. Ask Oklahoma how Boise State shows up in a bowl game. -
Holy cow! I am on the verge of an improbable comeback. Yes! Romo to Miles puts me up 4. I was down big time going into the afternoon games and behind Romo, Jacobs, and LT, have come back. Tomorrow night will be nerve wracking. Guy I am facing has Mason Crosby. Come on Baltimore defense!!!!

Needed to win today to get in the playoffs and am gonna lose with, probably, the 2nd highest points in the league this week. Of course the guy I am playing will have the most. I could also make it if another team loses, but the team he is playing forgot to take D. Jackson out of his lineup and they are in a close battle.

QUOTE (hitlesswonder @ Dec 5, 2009 -> 06:24 PM) Not any team -- just the University of Illinois. But then again, UI is only the fifth best team in the state, so it's not saying much. 5th best? Is this a joke? Green? Tough one for the Salukis tonight. We never play well in St. Louis. -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 5, 2009 -> 04:44 PM) Evan Turner out 8 weeks after breaking bones in his back on a fall after dunking. Big blow for the Bucks That's awful. Breaking bones in your back sounds worse then 2 months, but what do I know. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Dec 2, 2009 -> 08:25 PM) I'm in love with him and DJ. And what is funny is Bertrand destroyed them both head to head in HS but he is way too passive and I'm not sure that will change. I still want to see what he can do this year though. That had to be AAU because I don't think Warren ever played Sterling. AGree on Bertrand being passive. I only saw him twice but that is what stood out to me. -

Paul is just like he was in high school. If he hits his first shot of the game, you know he will have a great game. Awesome to see them comeback and him being huge after watching him in high school for 3 years. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Dec 2, 2009 -> 06:50 PM) Also, Jeff Jordan is terrible at basketball. Watching him handle the ball in pressure is nerve wracking. Clemson getting buckets withing the paint is not good. Michigan looks awful on defense as well. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Dec 2, 2009 -> 06:25 PM) Is there any call in sports that refs or officials screw up as often as the charge/block call in college basketball? It is ridiculous how terrible refs are at getting that right. It's usually a tough call. So much goes into it and you have to make a judgment right away. I'm asuming you are thinking of the one in the beginning of the game where the Clemson guy was clearly moving. Yeah, Paul!
