QUOTE (Shadows @ Nov 1, 2008 -> 09:31 PM) Actually this was brought up on the IMDB boards and a couple of people were saying that he also ran in parts 2 and 4 so its not that big of a deal It is actually kind more scary to see him run. I mean if this was a true remake of FT13th, it wouldn't be Jason in the movie.

Official Squared Circle Thread
I woke up at 8 and was flipping around and saw TNA was on and the first segment was the MEM. I may give it a shot. I like a heel Sting at this point with the new look. The only problem I have with the TNA Originals is that they don't have any big names outside of Joe and AJ.

QUOTE (farmteam @ Oct 26, 2008 -> 06:34 PM) Verdell Jones was the best player on the court, hands down. I really think he could be something special. He's a point guard in a 6'5" body, great rotation on his shot, and was a lot better going inside than I expected. Also distributed pretty well. From what I read Dumes will be starting at the point, but I'm hoping for a three guard set with Jones/Dumes/Williams. Nick Williams looked solid (everything I've read indicated he should be the best player on this team this year), about what I expected. Decently sized, moved well, Crean mentioned he might be playing more on the inside than on the outside. Tijan Jobe is big, but that's it. VERY raw, and since he's a JUCO transfer, I'm not sure how much he'll turn into in two years. It's gonna be a long season in the Hall this year, but I feel a lot better now than I did 6 months ago. Liked what I saw of Verdell in Peoria and at an all star game. He seems like one of those guys that lets the game come to him. Takes what is given to him and makes it count.

2008 World Series - Philadelphia Phillies vs. Tampa Bay Rays
QUOTE (Steff @ Oct 29, 2008 -> 09:04 PM) Wow. The Sox locker room was wrecked by this time in '05. The Phillies clearly don't know how to celebrate. A small part of me always wished we could of won it at home.

2008 World Series - Philadelphia Phillies vs. Tampa Bay Rays
QUOTE (Wanne @ Oct 29, 2008 -> 09:02 PM) That's exactly what I just said. To tell ya the truth...I still think the regular season is WAAAAAAAAAAAY to goddamn long. There's no way baseball should still be played at this time of the year (unless it's fall or winter leagues). No wonder nobody cares. NBA is starting, Midnight Madness, NFL, etc... 140-150 games would be plenty and the MLB should be over by the 2nd week of October by the latest. The baseball playoffs trump the first week of the NBA, college basketball practice, and 4 weeks of football which is only on Sunday and Monday.

Black Friday Hot Deal Thread
QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Oct 29, 2008 -> 08:05 PM) just go to walmart.com for some good deals everyday, they have a sharp and a toshiba 32" for $500 each, they both have gotten great reviews and have good specs. But let me know if theres a 32in deal out there for like $350 or $400, I really hope that stores and producers get desperate enough to mark it down that much, it would be so sweet. 32 inch? What is this? 2006? Absurd!
