QUOTE (SnB @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 10:34 PM) so many dumbass penalties. That hook on Kane was garbage, but yeah. Frustrating.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 10:03 PM) Armando Alejandro Estrada released today. The guy was a great manager and got Umaga over and they just toss him aside. He could of had a stable of wrestlers and gave the company an old school style.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 17, 2008 -> 10:47 AM) Ugh really? I thought it was kinda lame. It's the same mold as the rest of the season, which IMO is no good. Is that storyline even real? Would a studio just drop a movie in the middle of production just because a director and actor are having issues. And really, what director/actor would get the studio head involved? My favorite part of the episode was Drama not being in it. My least favorite was not having E in it. Next week looks ok. I'm interested to see where they take the story now that they secured another season. It was also way over budget, and studios have absolutely shut down production on movies like that.

I wish I started watching it when it started, but didn't. What is it exactly?

QUOTE (lostfan @ Nov 16, 2008 -> 09:54 PM) Google is my friend. I always have to make sure I'm interpreting it "correctly." They say poetry is open to interpretation, that's a crock, I have a tendency to be WAY off because it's so god damn cryptic. Langston Hughes is probably my favorite poet because what he writes is so simple to read. The thing about Shakespeare is that if you can understand what he's saying, it's actually really good, esp. the stories. I was pissed when I had to read Othello because it was so long, but the plot was great. It just took me forever to read. Othello is probably my favorite as well. Luckily it was a beginner Shakespeare class so we read that, Romeo & Juliet, and a couple others that were pretty easy to follow.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Nov 16, 2008 -> 08:27 PM) American Military University, an online school. Literature isn't for everybody, especially POETRY, I always feel like it's being forced down my throat. I'm the same way. Never understood poetry nor got into it. My last semester at SIU, I need 3 hours of an elective, so was convinced by a female friend to take Shakespeare with her. I had no clue what I was reading. I really tried as well. I had to rent the movies to get plot points down, never understood the dialogue. The fact that I put forth the effort made me feel good though. I showed up everyday, participated, squeaked out a C. I took it and graduated.

So do the refs look at the play when the review it under the hood? There was no way that was a touchback. Clearly and they still ruled it one. Awful officiating in the NFL continues.

QUOTE (danman31 @ Nov 16, 2008 -> 05:06 PM) Duke is losing to Rhode Island in the 2nd half. Wow. At home. -
QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Nov 16, 2008 -> 03:41 PM) With a minute left in OT, Cincy has the ball at Philly's 29. No good. Tie game, blah. Feel bad for whoever bought a ticket to that one.

QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 16, 2008 -> 03:03 PM) Anyone been watching Friday Night Lights? Coach Taylor's wife, Connie Britton, needs to be inducted into the MILF Hall of Fame. Oh God yes. That outfit she was wearing at the beginning of last weeks episode with the tight skirt and the tight blouse. Mercy!

I've defended Lovie more than anyone, but am getting tired of him and the whole staff like you guys. No adjustments during a game or changes week by week.

QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 16, 2008 -> 02:08 PM) I really don't see how Lovie can't fire Babich tomorrow. Gus calling the Indy game on CBS > Bears game

QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 16, 2008 -> 01:56 PM) Brilliant decision to throw a slant to your weakest, smallest receiver. Orton's not having a good game. That is what happens when you hit the receivers off the line and don't give the 8 yards.

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Nov 16, 2008 -> 01:26 PM) You think Bill Cowher's ready to come out of retirement yet? Would blow by wad if we hired Cowher.

Comedy. Although I feel for the lady putting up with him, she is just doing her job.

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Nov 14, 2008 -> 11:28 AM) I think I am the only person in the world that likes Eddy Curry. I liked him the one good year he had with us, than the heart issue was not handled well by either party, IMO. But I think at the time, it was smart to make sure he was ok and hold him out. I still think with the way the Bulls were playing that year going into the playoffs, with Eddy, they could of won a round or 2. Of course Deng missed that Washington series as well. The guy is lazy and out of shape. He had it so easy in high school and would of benefited from a year or 2 in college, easily.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 14, 2008 -> 11:10 AM) I dunno, I'd say 1,382 yards and 12 Tds in 2004 for the Pack and 1,084 yards and 8 Tds in 2006 for the Broncos were pretty damn solid stats. Randy Moss was terrible on the Raiders too; I guess he sucks. Not even the same thing. Just me, but 2 average years doesn't make you an elite receiver. Very inconsistent.

QUOTE (Shadows @ Nov 14, 2008 -> 03:33 AM) Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, and SummerSlam are the only anthologys out currently Survivor Series should be next, which should be a good one until you get to when there were NO SS matches on the card.. gay That was 92, right? Yeah, bad. I liked 91 the best. The first match between Team Piper and Team Flair was good. No quick pins. A guy was eliminated like every 10 minutes. Seemed legit. I like 93 as well. Matches aren't great but that is what I think SS is, just all elimination matches.

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Nov 13, 2008 -> 10:50 PM) There are talks about him signing a 10 year, 200 million dollar deal. I'm pretty sure the Nats aren't just looking at next year. I'm not convinced he would help them win within the next 10 years. Nationals are low budget. They are gonna give 20 mil to Tex. That would be half their payroll or near it.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 13, 2008 -> 10:26 PM) Does anyone else not think Teixeira is worth this at all? Not to Washington. He isn't going to help them win anything next year. He's a nice player, but he won't but butts in the seats IMO.
