Cassell with a great drive to lead the Pats down field to tie it. No way they overturn this. Great catch by Moss.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Nov 12, 2008 -> 04:59 PM) Before they attacked Christian tonight, they mention him going north. Have the released a Survivor Series Anthology on DVD? I love those old PPVs and if they did, I would get it. More so than a WrestleMania one and the Rumble one. I LOVED it when it was on Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving Eve.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 13, 2008 -> 09:47 PM) Javon Walker is out for the season with an ankle injury. Apparently, some clause in his contract actually takes this injury and makes it even more costly if the Raiders want to cut him. I have said it numerous times. This guy is so overrated. Never puts up the stats but wants all the money in the world, holds out, etc...Don't feel bad for him.

QUOTE (Kid Gleason @ Nov 13, 2008 -> 05:11 PM) That's what the early word was, but since it was released in Europe (or just the UK), it has been being torn to shreads. Ebert gives it 2 stars, but because there is too much action and he thinks there is more to Bond than action. He is right, but I like a good action movie so I will probably dig it.

QUOTE (sircaffey @ Nov 13, 2008 -> 02:46 PM) At least give me Melky in this thing. That would be the only saving grace for me in this deal.

They had a table at Warren yesterday for Paul. He wore an Illini jersey all day. Table was full of paper clippings and stuff. Brandon Paul vs. Jereme Richmond on Nov 29th. -

QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Nov 13, 2008 -> 12:14 PM) I hope SIU dismantles Duke. As much as I poke fun at my SIU boys, I really respect the program. I think they have realized that by now. Can we get some major conference basketball talk in here. I know you are just screwing around. You have a right to since Memphis lost the NCAA title game. It'll come. Felix with Minn...wait, Krush and SNB with Ill...wait. -

QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Nov 13, 2008 -> 10:08 AM) Oh thats another one that sells out pretty quick. Are you planning on going to Peoria for the Bradley SIU game? Yup. I will be in southern IL for X-mas and plan on meeting Justin in Peoria on the 28th on my way back. -
Just saw the tape of Shaq shoving the whole Rocket team to the floor last night. It was funny but no clue how he did NOT get ejected.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 13, 2008 -> 10:47 AM) I loves me a good pool hall. $1 an hour on Sunday's. Used to play for 6 hours a Sunday when it wasn't football season.

I maybe alone, but I worry about Peavy's elbow. That is a lot to give for Atlanta if they throw JoJo in there. But hey, anything to disappoint Cub fans is fine with me.

QUOTE (juddling @ Nov 13, 2008 -> 05:58 AM) Well...i was really digging the show but i guess Christian Slater will be looking for another job.... NBC has pulled the plug on freshman tentpole drama "My Own Worst Enemy" and returning sophomore series "Lipstick Jungle," sources say. The cancellation comes after both shows dropped to new lows in the ratings in recent weeks, with the Christian Slater action series sinking to a 1.8 among adults 18-49 (4.3 million viewers) on Monday night and "Lipstick" falling to a 1.2 (3.3 million viewers) on Friday. I really wish NBC or someone else would give "My own Worst Enemy" a shot. I love the premise and quite honestly, it's the first thing I can think of where I've liked Slaters work. Not surprised. NBC jerks shows around so much. Look at Scrubs and Friday Night Lights. Although My Own Worst Enemy did get a lot of pub. Scrubs and FNL rarely ever did.

QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Nov 12, 2008 -> 01:27 PM) Pinch Penny has beerfest every september, thats the closest I can think to the Intl Beer Club. Loved Pinch. Walking distance from my place, but what place isn't down there. That and the Cellar were my type of places. Nice and quiet.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Nov 12, 2008 -> 12:06 PM) I still watch Problem Child if I see it on, so bad...yet so good. I think I just get a kick out of seeing kids do crazy s***. I love when he runs the bases with the bat and they don't show him actually hit the kids, but than you see the kid hurt in the background as he moves onto the next base.

Ha. Two movies I used to watch as a kid were on Encore this morning. Problem Child and Mannequin. Oh my God these movies suck when I watch them now but I sat through them, remembering sitting in my basement and watching them.

I'm sure it's not that ba.....OH MY EYES!

Ok, 50/50 we beat UMASS. We turn the ball over a LOT! Also miss a lot of shots. -
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Nov 11, 2008 -> 08:52 PM) They discovered the partial tear sometime in May, the idea of Tommy John surgery was brought up at the time but Neshek took the Twins' advice and elected for rehab rather than surgery, 5 months later and it looks like that decision could cost him, and the Twins, big time. That is what I was gonna type. Waited way too long. Probably what the Twins wanted to do. If he misses all year, does that negate a year of arbitration?

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 11, 2008 -> 09:15 PM) I figured it was inevitable but SIU is struggling mightily right now. The first 10 minutes they seemed shaken before settling down. Hopefully we blow em out in the 2nd half. Definitely not encouraging. -
