QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Dec 6, 2008 -> 08:43 PM) And another SO lost. We need to find a way to win these close games by playoff time. The two Detroit goals in the 3rd looked totally stoppable to me. Break down in D on the tying goal, but they should of both been stopped IMO.

I bet the first "classic" game they show is the last game at Yankee Stadium. Should be an awesome channel. Curious if Dish Network will get it since they don't carry Extra Innings yet.

Warren beat Zion tonight, 89-84. Upset. Brandon Paul had 29 and scored at will. So did Lenzelle Smith. He had 39, including 7 trey's. Hard to believe Lenzelle is just a junior. He makes it look sooooooo easy. He is so fun to watch.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Dec 2, 2008 -> 10:32 PM) Bulls lose in OT to Philly. I know beating a team twice in 3 nights is VERY difficult, but the Bulls have to win a game like that if they want to make the playoffs (feel like a broken record as I made this point about the Illini and the NCAA Tournament earlier, but it's true). WAY too many turnovers tonight as Rose even got into the act in that regard (although he was great otherwise), and poor shooting and rebounding tonight as well. Tyrus had a nice game at least, blah that was a tough loss. Why does Tyrus shoot 18 foot jumpers? Has he ever made that shot? Irritates the piss outta me.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Dec 2, 2008 -> 12:05 PM) The songs you have in iTunes are on your old laptop. You have to import them over. Then, you have to hope and pray that iTunes doesn't delete your purchased songs, saying you can't play them because you don't own them. I hate Apple. How do you import them over? My other laptop crashed so I can't get on it, obviously. I checked my purchase history and they are all there listed, but not in my library.

ITUNES QUESTION! I got my new laptop and was hoping that when I signed into iTunes, it would have all the songs I bought, but don't see them. Do I have to pay for them again?

I love Pippen as much as anyone, but when he was called upon in crunch time, he failed and than complained and quit when they didn't go to him. You don't compare Pippen to Rose right now. Rose is about 13 games into his career. In 10 years, it could easily be Rose > Pippen. Right now, the arguement is moot.

QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 30, 2008 -> 08:33 PM) I hate you Ron Turner. Come on. The fullback dive is bound to work sooner than later. Forget the fact you have a freak TE that out matches everyone on their defense.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Nov 30, 2008 -> 05:58 PM) I'll have to go with Critic on this one. Foley seems as if he can drop an A+ promo at the drop of a hat. Flair's best stuff is only when he's angry. Wrong-o. Royal Rumble 92 for instance. Good thing Foley was good on the mic cuz he was not very good in the ring.

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Nov 30, 2008 -> 06:45 PM) Bulls beat the Sixers tonight - went 3-4 on the circus trip. That's acceptable, considering its the best we've done since MJ left (I think). In the span of 40 seconds, Rose came from behind and swatted away a sure lay-up from Andre Miller, and then absolutely broke Miller's ankles. It was SICK, gotta catch that s*** on SC if you missed it. I almost felt bad for Miller on that cross over. ALMOST. I usually hate Stacey King on commentary but those two plays, he was hilarious.

Official Recruiting Thread II
QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Nov 29, 2008 -> 10:12 AM) That should be a great game. Paul is just a terrific combination of offense and athleticism. You must have saw Paul on a bad night because apparently he is a great on-ball defender. (This is from Rivals who voted him the top defender on the '09 Big Ten recruits). Richmond never really has dominant games, but rather dominant moments. I saw him last year and could tell he was going to be a great player, but he wasn't a top 10 player in the country. I wouldn't be surprised to see a anyything-you-can-do-I-can-do-better type game tonight. Richmond playing a friend might just burst out. 25+ for both. The little guard from Bartlett scored 33 against Warren. Paul couldn't stop him. Kept getting to the basket and Paul fouled out because of it. Kids name from Bartlett is Marc Little. He scored 38 against Waukegan on Wed and 33 against Warren yesterday. He was a player. If Paul was guarding someone a little slower and maybe not a point guard, he may have done a better job. Maybe it was an off night. Richmond isn't even the best player on Waukegan this year. Kid names Colin Nickerson is going to Fairfield. Heard he only verballed and hasn't signed. Maybe smart for him cuz he could go somewhere bigger. Game will be broadcasted on www.WKRS.com if anyone wants to listen. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Nov 29, 2008 -> 10:12 AM) It is also amazing how strong the surburban conferenecs have gotten, especially the CSL (north and south). The talent there is just as good as the city schools and that really isn't an exaggeration when you have guys like Richmond, Cooley, Nik Garcia, Alex Rossi, Dragovich (sp? from GBN) and I know I am missing a few too. You're not kidding. Look at the North Suburban alone. Brandon Paul (Illinois), Matt Vogrich (Michigan), Ben Brust (Just a junior), Connor Mooney (Uncomitted), Lenzelle Smith (Ohio State), Markus Yarborough (Tennessee State), Ronald Steward (uncomitted). Central Suburban is loaded as well. Richmond, Nickerson, Cooley, Rossi, Heldring (sp?), Dragovich, etc...

QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Nov 28, 2008 -> 11:51 PM) That makes two of us. Funny, I tried to see if I could subtly swing the conversation toward the topic of Kim. He wasn't having any of it. I bet he gets that all the time nowadays. Me 3. Although, I find her sister, Courtney, to be more attractive.
