QUOTE (TheBlackSox8 @ Dec 25, 2008 -> 11:28 PM) I've played the wii a few times...couple good games, couple great games, and some bad ones. I've never felt the need to have one. Just my feeling though. We played bowling all day. I am destined to get a 300 game. If/when I do, I would never play again. I would probably be better off getting a PS3 when the price comes down.

QUOTE (tommy @ Dec 25, 2008 -> 01:36 PM) Any reason Cubs play their first 4 games against 3 different AL teams? Is it first time team plays interleague to start the season? Is it a marketing move, they play the Yankees the first weekend, @ the new Yankee stadium. Those are pre-season games.

Down in St. Louis til Monday. Does NFL.com let you pay to watch games on their site anywhere? The Rams/Falcon game will probably be on down here and wanna watch the Bears, obviously.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Dec 23, 2008 -> 05:11 PM) A nice review of Raw by Paul Heyman: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...icle2066537.ece Wrestling needs Paul Heyman, simple as that. Agreed. If TNA hired him to write, it would get so much better. I never understood why everytime Heyman was doing something good in E, they dropped it...except for December to Dismember but that never had a shot.

QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 10:35 PM) A designed QB draw where the QB is tackled behind the line of scrimmage is not a sack. Gotcha. Dumb rule though.

Sweet. Who was that that couldn't pick it up. He could of ran for awhile, it seems.

In the 3rd quarter, when the Packers tried the QB draw and Harris tackled Rodgers in the backfield, wasn't that a sack? Just before their FG. They didn't count it as one.

QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 10:30 PM) They've shown no IQ at all. Tillman and Peterson's penalties (Tillman in OT and Peterson tonight) have been inexcusable. When you add to that Tillman's blown read at the end against Atlanta, this year will be remembered more for just stupid decisions by the players and coaches. I don't think that was Tillman's screw up in Atlanta. Wasn't it Graham? I miss Ayanbadejo more than I thought I would.

QUOTE (SoxFan101 @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 10:14 PM) Besides 2 games, Orton has been pretty bad all season long, well 2 games and one drive vs Atlanta. I don't agree with that. He was VERY good for 2 games and that drive, average for a few games, than bad for other few.

QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 10:10 PM) Boo this f***er off the field. He has no vision at all. Which is odd cuz he showed he did before he got hurt. He would look off safeties all game long. I'm not a Rex fan, but screw it, put him in.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 09:54 PM) The 1-2 yard run on first down doesn't do it for you? If we have tried to run the ball off tackle and not up the middle, I missed it.

I am far from a football expert, but if you blitz all your LBs, like we just did on 3rd down, why not have the CB's up on the WR to take away that quick pass?

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 09:32 PM) He's worse than bad. You can tell he was waiting all night to say that Blagojevich joke. Either that or he thought of it at halftime and wanted to use it right away. Kornheiser is bad, embarassing, a joke, uninformative, etc....Serves no purpose. That block in the back on Jamar was weak. The guy made the tackle first. You can probably call block in the backs on every kick or punt.

We have the worst field surface in the NFL. When you go to games, you really see how bad it is. Time to go artificial.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 05:11 PM) For you Southern Illinois fans... I just found out one of your basketball signees, Drew Barham, goes to my old high school. From what I've heard, he's the best player to come out of my high school in a long time, and while we have never been a powerhouse or anything, my high school is always pretty good. Been to the state championship 3 of the last 7 years, but lost every time - twice to Brendan Wright's high school team. That said, I don't know too much about him... Have yall heard anything good? What kind of player do you see him being? I know he is 6'6 and can drain from outside.

That was NOT a good first half for me. Was up 30 going into this game and now Williams has him making an improbable come back. I have Steve Smith so that one play that was overturned killed me. Have Bears defense tomorrow no matter what.
