Tisch threw a no-no in a 7 inning game shortened, because of a double header. He pitched 7 innings givivng up no hits only 1 walk, and striking out 6. He lowered his season era to 1.20. Riding Tisch's brilliant performance Bristol won game 1 of the double dip 2-0. Bristol then shut out Johnson City again 4-0 on a combined shut out by Novoa and Castro. Novoa upped his record to 3-1 on the season. Young shortstop Roberto Valido went 3-5 in the 2 games with 2 runs scored and an RBI. Also outfielder Eddie Young had 3 stolen bases on the day to up his season total to 5.

You know that guy that shut us down 3 games in a row, Chris Mears. Well it turns out he's Canadian. The Canadians are slowly taking over.

Hits wise and opinion wise from site users? I think it's great but would be better with up-to-date rosters as well as more regular and up-to-date box scores. We've gotten good feedback on it. Still, there is a lot that has to be done. Slowly I've been working on getting the rosters updated and I'm also working on getting some semi up to the date stats (updated every 3 days or so). Right now it is nowhere the site I'd like it to be, but I also know that over time it will become that site. I have quite a few things scheduled to do during the off-season to get the site in tip top shape for next season. I will get rosters up this season, but next year I'm going to try and get bio pages on every player or as many of them as can be done. We got two big featuers coming up, one which will start tomorrow (The Draft Review). Thanks for the feedback Kip Sounds great, it's going to be perfect when I can get all my minor league information from basically one site.

Anyone seen this movie by Stanley Kubrick, I thought it was awesome. The first time I saw it I was a bit confused. But after doing some reading on the internet about it, it made more sense. It was a great way to explain the (I guess you could say) evolution of man. I also learned that this movie is based on a book, anyone here read it?

I watch CNN Crossfire almost daily and the episode that she appeared in was really appauling. I didn't understand her views at all. I'm not sure how Ann Coulter's views can be viewed so seriously. But it is a free country, so whatever. I'm sure as hell not going to buy into her crap.

You can't be mad at Buehrle for wanting to play for the Cards. They were his childhood favorite and they still are now. If I was a professional ballplayer I would want to get out of Chicago too. Go to a place where the team has a hope and the players care.
