They released Darren Ingram and to fill his spot on the roster Tommy Nicholson was demoted from Charlotte. Ingram was leading the club in homeruns with 9 but was only hitting 207. I realized late last night that you only have to vote for Frank, and not also a candidate from the NL. Makes voting a split second faster!

To add another point, I am confused at why Lance Carter is being selected from Tampa Bay. I can name 3 Tampa players more deserving of an All-Star appearance Al Levine, Rocco Baldelli and Aubrey Huff. I can understand Huff and Rocco not being included due to too many better offensive players in the Al but I do not understand Al Levine being left out. I guess saves are an attractive stat for Sciosia.

Hopefully hes in better shape? He's actually only 28 or 29 but is listed at 250lbs. He has appeared in one game so far going 1.2 and giving up 2 earned. Did anybody announce this signing because I sure missed it. I know it's not major and probably will not affect the mother club, but it's just interesting.
