A mere 20 footer? Child's play, my friend.?
-
Plenty of time to drive into the lane and go body hunting and DDR chose to yo-yo the ball and put up an off-balance 28 footer. Out of gas or afraid of the big bodies in his way? Won and I feel like they lost. I need a drink now, not at midnight.

9-6 is far enough higher than the median to qualify as better than mediocre. But I get what you're saying.
-
Grain or two of truth among the chaff right there. Could it be that the players they have to work with is making all those head coaches look bad to mediocre?

Long arms. athleticism and PG skills vs. Coby's offense. Coby's offense looked pretty good last night, short arms and all. His future is second team scorer or trade bait. He and Ayo could play backcourt together because they have complementary skills. Depends how well Ilyasova fills the rebounding and defense void. Ilya's got a bag of tricks all right; not a dirty player in the cheap shot sense, but he'll occasionally grab a waistband so he can get a rebound. Good clean fun, right? Can't think of the name of that Euro thug who cheap shotted people all over the place a few years ago. Newly acquired McClung is an intriguing player. He's a twerp, but he can do a lotta the same things Trae and Curry do. Not as well, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know.

He can hit a shot, he gets you the ball and he can defend a man. He's also one of these guys with a clouded identity, like some Latin American baseball players, except he's a Turk? with a Russian last name, although he might be a Russian masquerading as a Turk. Whatever. Call him an international man of mystery. He was once involved in a trade for Serge Ibaka, who is what we really need right now.

His chance to cross the T's and dot the I's on a career that was denied him in Toronto. Show the world, DeMar.

If the Bulls had played last night I'd have watched them and missed the Curry game. See the bright side of COVID? Warriors against Knicks. the Knicks have some nice young talent. Despite that they're on an awful slump that has them diving in the standings, Coach Thibs fans.

More than a grain or two of truth there, IMO. Think of the effect Hawk's dynamic? personality had on the all-knowing? feel guy JR as opposed to the laid-back Hemond. At least after his Peter Principle experience Hawk eventually dropped back to the broadcasting level where he was competent.

The Nets made just Luka look ordinary for the entire second half and stole a game on their own floor. That's the plan, keep him out of the paint and make him shoot the ball. Look at his percentages, not the highlights. Our old buddy JJ was a big part of it, too. All right, you know I like the guy. ? Bulls match up well with either team, might get deeper than we think into the playoffs.

Denver was sorta playing with half a squad themselves. Bulls were simply too athletic for them. Ayo's a dynamo.

DeMar evoking mid range memories of Chet the Jet as well as MJ. But Chet was more of a post up PF. If you're too young to remember, you missed some fun teams. I'm on Cloud Nine, keep it up Bullies.

Correctamundo. He had to go elsewhere to become what he became after wasted years here. Got us a nice draft choice which was promptly wasted.

If anyone watched NYK vs. BKN you saw a great NBA classic. Takeaways: Couple bigs doing pine duty that could help the Bulls out right now. Go get 'em. Lots of familiar faces on both sides. Our old JJ that Thibs misused and then doghoused and demoted before he was traded away with the winning free throws. Good for him, closing over the benched Blake Griffin. About those last free throws: They were up by 1 with 2.2 seconds to go after he made the first. Coach Nash should have told him to miss the second. NYK with no timeouts (Thibs hasn't changed there) would have to throw the rebound 70 feet to get a 2 point shot off and the clock would run out. Same for the three pointer, unlikely timewise but it beats you either way.

Vuc is having a subpar season, fer sure. And who wouldn't want an MVP center? Maybe our guy will get it together; long way to go yet. Coby? Even if he gets it together, who wants a player who has a good game every ten days?

The ball was long gone before that foul. Should have counted the basket and the foul against Zo. If falling into a defender is a foul and it might be.

I'm only a casual football fan, but Nantz and Romo are the best TV booth team I've heard in a while. Esp. compared to the awful announcing I heard watching college football yesterday.

The Clemente of his day. -
Add Deandre Jordan to your list of shells. You missed seeing him lumber coast to coast on a break in the second half. Best laugh of the night.

Fun seeing a pretty good team crumble in LA. Plenty of defensive energy even on a back-to-back. And the threes were going in. They'll all get a good night's sleep. Me too.

I enjoyed Jason on the call last night. He's better at basketball than baseball, I think. Better than Adam too, sorry to say. The game reminded me of some grindy Bulls defensive teams of way, way back.

I have a serious question here. What causes the late break on a pitch that analysts are always talking about? A pitch leaves the pitcher's hand with a certain spin rate and velocity which determine the size and direction of the break. If a pitch is to start breaking more during its flight, it can't be because the spin rate increases; if anything, the spin rate will decrease slightly during its flight. That would actually cause it to break less. Contrariwise, the velocity of a thrown ball will decrease slightly during its flight because of air resistance. That slower speed would cause it to break slightly more because of less inertia. So the two effects would seem to even out. What then, is the cause of the late break, or is the late break effect an illusion of some sort?
