  1. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 10:17 PM) Good effort by Felix. Jeff Brantley is questioning the decision to stick with Diaz in the 9th. They had their closer, who has an ERA under 1 just sitting down there in the pen. Horrible management. LOL.
  2. Who cares? Do you people honestly let some famous person's fleeting affiliation with a team affect your love of the White Sox?
  3. Up 8.8% vs. 2004 Still have 3 game set vs. Cubs 3 game ser vs. Yanks 3 game set vs. Red Sox 7 games vs. Twins, including final 4 home games of the season.
  4. I thought it could have been called a balk, but yeah, that was a botched call.
  5. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Jun 19, 2005 -> 10:37 PM) Um..thanks for that. Hopefully I hear the song tomorrow, it's not ringing a bell right now. It started in the 59 season.... When they would get a runner on, they would play a little song, and the crowd would chant Go, Go, Go, Go,
  6. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 19, 2005 -> 10:04 PM) I forget which team, but I think its the Panama one, has Santana, Escobar, and Zambrono. Thats a whicked filthy pitching staff. Venezuela = Santana, Zambrano, Freddy Garcia. They also get magglio. But I can't really think of any other stars from there. Panama= Carlos Lee.
  7. f*** You ESPN.... Can't you just leave us alone. Why do you have to televise our games losses?
  8. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jun 19, 2005 -> 03:56 PM) However, Konerko definitely gets a huge pass on this board. No, Konerko has developed a batting eye. He's already walked more this season than Crede ever has in a single season. He's quietly putting up a fine season.
  9. I heard on the radio that we were getting Vizquel. Lesson: Don't believe what you hear on the radio.
  10. 50 walks are useless.. All Ventura ever did was clog up the bases.
  11. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Jun 19, 2005 -> 02:15 AM) I have to admit, their commercials are better than ours. Too bad their teams not...
  12. In all honesty, I thought Carl was going to have a monster year. He slumped a little, but I can't complain one bit about what we've gotten there. I've said since last season that he was a great insurance policy to have in Franks absense. Perhaps most importantly, with Frank back in the line-up, he's pushed Timo down far enough on the depth chart that he's almost an afterthought.
  13. Borchard 0-6 w/ 4K's Who's surprised?
  14. He's improving guys, Last 2 times out he gave up 3-run HRs in the first...
  15. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 04:07 PM) Jeter hits his first grand slam of his career. Finally on the 136th try. LOL cubs losing 7-1 and Jeter is on my fantasy team. I'd just like to note that I said that Borowski was done when we saw him in his first appearence of the season against us. I can't believe that he's still pitching in the big leagues right now. He's like Thriller was last year. Everyone knows he's done, but the manager keeps running him out there.
  16. Typical f***nut Twins (that's my cute batgirl type name for them) win. Leadoff walk because Reyes is a fat dumbf***. Cheap ass motherf***ing turfjob double. walk the bases loaded turfjob single that wins the game on some career minor leaguers' first ever major league RBI
  17. well they better score off of Mulholland if they see him again.
