I know I thought it was obvious... I ran out of green.. It's a gator with a knife stuck in his skull... I think he's an inspiration, like that kitty hangin' from the clothesline, "Hang in there".... I think my knife-head gator should say something like, "keep on swimin'" or "You think you've got a headache?"

I just heard it on the radio... I listen to sports talk, and in between the Steve Stone stuff today there was some actual news. I wouldn't have posted it had I not created this thread.

That was implimented by the Governer... Iowa didn't wanna play Iowa State because they didn't think they were good enough competition... Those two schools didn't play each other for a long time. The big ten allows for you to schedule the same two teams every year, the rest rotate. For Iowa it's Minnesota and Wisky. (Floyd the pig and the Bull) -

Who made their schedule, Jim Boeheim? -
They did, but there was some undisclosed clause in there that allowed it to be terminated... They picked up some catcher from the Reds off of waivers last week or something. I guess he's gonna replace Blanco Edit: Corky Miller was the Catcher they picked up.

Some options picked up.. Dempster, Lowell Some declined -- Vinny Castilla New Free Agent -- Henry Blanco

Yeah but as it is, Iowa and NH are among the most powerful states in the union, despite only having about 4M(roughly 1.35%) in population combined, they carry 11 Electoral votes (roughly 2%), and are both among the most influential in the primary process. Dean was toast, by Iowa, and that was more than a month before they got anywhere near Illinois. Isn't that's the small states deciding more than the large ones? Oh and for once I agree with Nuke, I've advocated exactly the same plan as his for a while now.

Yeah that's how I thought it should go... maybe even toss a date on there, just for reference purposes.
-
I believe it starts 15 days after the series, so like November 12th or something like that. Also I think teams have about 10 days after the series to pick up options on players.

Thread Open: I just wanted to keep it closed while I compiled the list to make sure they all stayed on one page... I'm sure there are some mistakes in there (qwery already PM'ed me with one)... I was only using one shady looking webpage as a source. The point of this thread is to keep an up to date record of these players contract status and teams.... If somebody has signed, or had their option picked up, post the info, and Myself (and hopefully some other helpful mods/admin(I haven't run this passed them yet)) will keep the front page up to date with dates/teams.
