  1. he had three steps after he caught the ball. I just counted... You never see a WR getting called great for making a catch 3 steps inbounds... Was it a good catch? sure. The best of the year? Not a chance.
  2. I clicked guilty for the first three comandments, and my computer froze... God smote my computer damnit.
  3. I'd say I volunteer on the National level, considering I left the state to Voluteer... Illinois would have been a waste of time.
  4. I'll agree with you on that, but he's still overrated.
  5. Can I change my vote now... PA convinced me.
  6. I was having a tough time deciding who to vote for... I've decided now.
  7. Yep thank god that leadoff hitter batted .200 in the most important 7 games of the year... Jetah is teh sexors
  8. Milton's last 2 full seasons he has an ERA+ of 92, and 92 Garland's last 3 seasons he has an ERA+ of 101, 99, and 100 /yep.
  9. Here's how I project their Line-up right now 1B - Morneau/Mauer/LeCroy 2B - Rivas/Cuddyer/Punto SS - Bartlett 3B - Mauer/Cuddyer/Tiffie LF - Stewart CF - Hunter RF - Ford C - Mauer/LeCroy/Blanco DH - Restovich/Kubel They are going to be shopping Hunter, in exchange for pitching help. In which case Ford will play center. They are going to look to bring in Vizquel @ SS too, as a #2 hitter, where they were the worst in baseball last season.
  10. I fully expect Jason Barlett to make everyone wonder why they bothered keeping Guzman around for so long. last two full seasons at AAA: .308/.398/.445
  11. SF will end up with Alou.. KC??? they can't handle Sosa's huge salary, that automatically renews and goes up if he's traded.
  12. 2 things. I don't think the Cubs are a MAJOR player for Beltran unless they move sosa's contract. Removing the Yanks from the sweepstakes, only increases the chances of him going to the Cubs King George already has 4 OF's under contract next season. (sheffield, Williams, Matsui, Lofton) at a cost of about $35M Why would he need to add another?
  13. I'll take .283/.327/.506 from my shortstop anyday... It'd be nice if he took a walk a little more often, but there's certainly bigger problems than plugging that into your line-up everyday... ... and yes I think Uribe needs to show a little more seasoning/consistency before I hand him the job.
  14. So what does $87Billion look like? http://www.crunchweb.net/87billion/ /can't wait until the war on terrorism is over, and there are no more terrrrrists.

  16. in negotiations... Call them b**** and threaten to drop their service... That's the only way to speed their 'efforts"
  17. me too... I'm mad, I signed up and done some door-knockin' etc. in the past month, but the last week or so those bastards are filling up my inbox.
  18. Home field used to alternate ... It didn't go to the team with the best record. It was even more arbitrary.
  19. I picked the Sawk in February, I'm not changing now.
  20. I read a stat somewhere, that when a series is 3-2, if the team that is down wins game six, they win game 7 80% of the time. I thought that was amazing... It happened yesterday... could be happening now. Maybe old Jack McKeon new this last year... Nah.
  21. Yeah, Willie and Timo didn't help either. They often hit in the #2 spot vs. LHP.
  22. Thanks TLAK, so we were 21-35 when a lefty started. Thats terrible.
