After I posted that I looked at it closer, I think he's got his own values for a "quality start", Winnable start, and poor start... I just saw schoeneweis with 5 QS's and I knew that wasn't right... He had that many by the end of April. A Qaulity start by definition is 6IP 3ER or better, which means your ERA is 4.50 or better. That's not that great, so maybe jugger made a tougher "quality start" stat for his own use.

There's no guarentee you can sign him... If he was shipped out, and Jones came in return, We'd have jones locked up for 3 more years. I'd say that's a good trade off.

I'm a greedy f***er. KW go out and get more arms. I don't just wanna win the division. I want more. Taking one series from the cubs isn't enough. I want a WS victory. I want a WS victory when all we've heard since the off-season was that this is "next year" for the Cubs. There would be nothing better than to win it all when the Northsiders thought it was theirs for the taking.

Don't be mad, it's the truth.. His analysis of MO is a little off. He doesn't note the considerable power he has shown this season. And I think his Defense has been overrated here, especially this season. But overall, this trade is a loss for the sox, unless they can do two things: Sign Garcia long-term, or win a WS.

I brought it up earlier (maybe a couple weeks ago) about his lack of playing time... The numbers support it though-- Last season MO was 3rd in the AL in CERA This season He is nowhere near the top of the League.

KW said that the Garcia deal does not preclude him from making any other trades in the future. I don't like the Garcia until we make some more moves.
