Utah = Whitest team ever... Hey Barry. You think Boston is racist, look at the drafting process of the Utah Jazz. I dont know who the GM is over there, but he goes out of his way to draft white.

Aaron Rowand/Jose V
You can't dispute what he's done since last june. I overstated his OPS, I thought it was closer to 1.000, my mistake. Since I made this, he's 3-for-10? w/ a HR. Granted most of his number have been vs. LHP. That's why I said with 450 AB's. I figure he plays every game vs. lefties. and maybe 1/2 to 2/3's of games vs. Righties. That would put him at about 450 AB's on the season. His numbers would be comparable to, if not better than Carlos Lee's. I'm not the only one with this opinion, I can guarentee there is some other GM out there who would love to take A-Row off of KW's hands. The whole not good aginst righties thing is a little overblown... Granted there's been small sample sizes, but he has not been terrible vs. RHP. 2002 - .255AVG/.637OPS - (204AB's) 2003 - .250AVG/.746OPS - (92AB's) 2004 - .258AVG/.727OPS - (97AB's) Aggregate that's .254Avg... That's servicable.

Its a Nice Win, But There are still a few Problems
I can't belive we have a thread complaining about a win from our 5th starter. :headshake

Aaron Rowand/Jose V
With 450 AB's Rowand would put up some monster numbers. There's no doubt that his name is on the list of players that Seattle is considering for garcia. Rowand has hit .330+ with an OPS just under 1.000 since coming off the DL last June.

I know I've posted an attached image that I made of her, with a green face, and mole on her nose. But I couldn't find it last time I looked. Not willing to try again. Oh well.

OK Rauch got through 5, but he was hit hard that inning -- Get him out of there ozzie. Good Job Rauch.

The Longball
Opposing pitchers have a higher ERA at Comiskey than visiting pitchers do at Coors this season. It's not just our pitching staff. USCF has become a launching pad. Check out the park factors this season. USCF is giving up HR's at a greater rate than any other park in baseball, including Coors. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/stats/parkfactor?sort=HRFactor

I've had problem with animated gifs' speed too. I don't know of any way to speed them up.. Or I should say I've done everything I know how to make them fast, but they always seem choppy to me.

WHY
Because a rigty was due up next. Broussard was a PH.

Judging from Grilli's last outing he could do a great Jackson/Politte impression. Charlotte IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA Jason Grilli (L 4-5) 4.1 9 10 6 2 2 1 4.22

Mike Jackson
We need to put a big sign on the top of the page... Kelly Wunch is not going to pitch for the white sox again this season. He was hurt last year. Hurt early this year. Has never regained his velocity. Called up. Sent back down. Quoted as saying he was throwing "junk". Taken off the 40- man roster. Put on the DL at AAA.. Read the writing on the wall.

Mike Jackson
The point is that right now he's not a long reliever... We don't have a long reliver. Neal is more of a LOOGY right now, although I don't think that ozzie really cares if he's putting him in vs. a lefty or a righty. He's an early inning tight situation guy. That's a valuable asset, if you use him right. Unfortunately he's not.

Ashlee Simpson
Glad somebody got it. After I posted, I realized that Highlights is probably a little to old for a majority on this board to remember. Do they still make it, and I just out grew it?

Mike Jackson
Because NOBODY on the sox, not even shingo, has been as good at preventing Inheritted runners from scoring... He has the best DP rate of any white sox pitcher reliever or starter. Cotts probably should have been in there for Jackson today, but he had pitched the last two days, and was probably unavailable. Or at least he should have been unavailable, as Cotts has been bad when when pitching 2 days in a row.
