The only thing Vina is good at is getting plunked. I'm sure he was close to the league lead in HBP's again this season even though he didn't play half of the year. He should be chaeper than 3 MIL though. he could be a viable option. Though not my first choice.

I was just scanning the yankees website. There's no mention anywhere of getting rid of Soriano. There's no real logical reason for them to get rid of him. The only real talk is of moving him to center field. There is, however, no doubt in my mind, that if KW is going to shop Ordonez, the Yankees will be a player. Is there is a sitiation that the Bo Sox could be looking at Maggs? and if so who do you think we could/would get in return?

Alvarez is the interesting name on that list. I think he could be a GREAT addition to the team. I don't know what he'd cost, but Sterling Hitchcock was lights out down the stretch for St Louis. Of course I understand our recent history with guys who were lights out for the cards in the second half. (Rick White)

Flash can and should close this season. Though I doubt it will be with the sox. I see Damaso getting an opporunity to prove just how dominant he can be. The guy I really wanna see groomed for the role is Danny Wright. I think he showed he has the right mentality to come out of the pen. Now if he can only get the Eric Gagne type stuff to go along with it.

Pavano is a free agent. I bet he ends up with Boston. I doubt Ozzie would have any effect on pitching free agents. However, I'm sure it has some effect on a guy like Castillo, who i'd love to see here, who's stlye lends itself to that which Ozzie should bring to this team.

The poll currently sits at 20 -7 in favor of Ozzie. I voted for Ozzie. But I think KW will pick Gaston. I think alot of people did the same as me and voted with thier hearts. Sadly, when you follow your heart, especially around this team, you can expect heartbreak in your future.

With Miami getting thier butts kicked I added them to the list of once-beatens. Washighton St is not on the list because the are disqualified for losing to Notre Dame. Actually because they are going to lose to USC.

I don't think they'll make the MAC championship game. BGSU is in the same division, is a better team, and holds the tiebreaker against NIU.

I've bashed Lloyd Carr on this site a few times, but today he kept his head out of his ass long enough to realize he has the best O-line in the big ten and a horse running behind them. Perry opened up the secondary for Navarre. It doesn't work the other way around... Now if Carr sticks with the same philosophy that I've been calling for all year, Michigan will run the table for the rest of the big ten schedule. I smell Roses.
