  1. Would be cool to expose the ten Central teams with all finishing under .500. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to eliminate the leagues and or return to the division heavy schedule to create an illusion of six or eight "quality" division winners, plus "quality" wild card teams. MLB Standings - Records vs. under .500 teams: AL East: 1 Tampa Bay 17-2; 2 Baltimore 15-4; 3 New York 14-4; 4T Toronto 11-7; 4T Boston 11-7 AL Central: 1 Minnesota 15-10; 2 Detroit 10-7; 3 Chicago 10-9; 4 Kansas City 8-8; 5 Cleveland 12-13 AL West: 1 Texas 19-9; 2 Los Angeles 15-7; 3 Seattle 15-10; 4 Houston 14-11; 5 Oakland 4-11 NL East: 1 Atlanta 16-6; 2 Miami 15-9; 3 Philadelphia 15-11; 4 Washington 10-7; 5 New York 15-14 NL Central: 1 Pittsburgh 16-9; 2 Milwaukee 16-12; 3 Chicago 11-10; 4 Saint Louis 7-9; 5 Cincinnati 9-12 NL West: 1 Los Angeles 20-8; 2 Arizona 15-10; 3 San Diego 8-7; 4 San Francisco 10-10; 5 Colorado 11-16 MLB Standings - Records vs. over .500 teams: AL East: 1 Tampa Bay 17-12; 2 Baltimore 16-12; 3 Boston 15-14; 4 New York 15-16; 5 Toronto 14-15 AL Central: 1 Minnesota 10-12; 2 Cleveland 8-13; 3 Detroit 10-17; 4 Chicago 9-20; 5 Kansas City 6-26 AL West: 1 Houston 13-8; 2 Texas 10-8; 3 Los Angeles 10-16; 4 Seattle 7-14; 5 Oakland 6-27 NL East: 1 Atlanta 13-11; 2 New York 10-9; 3 Miami 9-14; 4 Philadelphia 7-13; 5 Washington 10-20 NL Central: 1 Milwaukee 9-9; 2 Saint Louis 14-18; 3 Cincinnati 10-15; 4 Pittsburgh 8-13; 5 Chicago 9-16 NL West: 1 Arizona 12-10; 2 San Francisco 12-14; 3 Los Angeles 9-11; 4 Colorado 8-12; 5 San Diego 13-19
  2. James Fegan is the one White Sox reporter worth following.
  3. Feeling better about Colas’ Charlotte stint after reading this about Frazier: Colas also should be a much better fielder than he showed in April, hope he is working on that as well. Would like to see Colas called up and stay successfully once he is ready to succeed playing 6 games a week up here.
  4. I’ve only followed four of five games this season. Grateful I can now listen to every game the next few weeks, don’t care if there is a drop off in performance for the rotation slot.
  5. First White Sox Sweep of the Season! Seven White Sox Hitters with hits. Quality Start for Lynn, second White Sox save for Joe Kelly Three more shutout innings from the bullpen. The Bullpen scoreless streak now at 20 Innings! A Perfect Day for the Three Peat!!! Marv Albert on hot mike saying the inevitable. Clev
  6. White Sox up 4-2, Bottom 7th, 2 on, 2 out. EDIT: White Sox up 5-2, same situation.
  7. Alberto goes down, in a lot of pain. Dislocated shoulder making a safe sign per DJ. Can't make this up.
  8. Sox go 173-0 for Farmeo every season in Heaven! Saint Rita never loses either.
  9. The White Sox need to visualize it before it can happen.
  10. Babe Ruth 6-2 215 pounds 182.6 bWAR.
  11. Hoping to hear this by early next week. #FreeOscarColas.
  12. Jerry provides the budget. Hahn has had more than enough money the past three seasons to execute a solid plan and acquire legitimate starters at 2B and RF. He has failed at his task. Jerry opened up his coin purse larger than expected to support his BFF manager the past two seasons. The purse is now closed. Expect payroll to drop further the next two seasons, perhaps under $100M with Hahn rebuild 2.0, unless there is a miraculous on field turn around and Sox are solid playoff contenders the next two years to avoid a substantial sell off. The money has been spent, poorly.
