Liking what I'm seeing from Sandin. He knows how to get hitters out.

And that's a back over .500 White Sox winner!
One of those 42 games that could go either way. Good win.

Good at bat by Colson

White Sox Winner With 9 Run Inning
imagine the kind of numbers Robert could put up if he had Mune's plate discipline and ability to get walks.

White Sox Winner With 9 Run Inning
Agreed, those Robert at bats were infuriating.

White Sox Winner With 9 Run Inning
Also just very impressed by how stubborn and patient we are at the plate. The Meidroth at bat that "drove in" the first run was really a product of this. I don't think he took the bat off his shoulder at all and was rewarded. And because of that at bat, Benny got a coookie on that first pitch. Love how the coaching staff seem to be stressing patience and working the count.

White Sox Winner With 9 Run Inning
Wasn't a vintage performance last night but it didn't have to be. Good solid baseball for the most part.

These last two strike calls were balls. Wish we had those challenges

He looked weird on that ground ball. Like he paused before putting his foot on the bag. Wondering if he could have felt something.

Davis is Maddux esque in how simply he goes about getting hitters out. Makes it look so easy

5/22 (9:10pm CDT) at Giants Game Thread: We're in the Bay with Davis on the mound
This is some of the most comically inept baseball I've ever seen. Loving every second

Sox opening up the inning all due to our relentless and stubborn patience at the plate

At what point do we start to believe?
I agree about the upcoming games. At the same time, it'll likely tell us who Cleveland are as well as, not to take anything away from them, but they have gone on this run by beating up on some really bad teams. Their June is more difficult. This weekend will be really tough for them and I can see us making a game or two.

At what point do we start to believe?
That we won and didn't play well? Why is that hard to comprehend? Arsenal just won a premier league grinding out wins. Yesterday's win does more to convince me than the cubs series. Good teams find ways to win games they shouldn't when they aren't playing especially well.
-
At what point do we start to believe?
Good teams do that. It speaks to their mentality. Meanwhile a big part of why a team like the cubs will lose the division again to the brewers is the lack of mentality. They are about to be swept and they were completely outclassed. They just laid down. We didn't lay down, even when we were down 5-2 today.
