I want the Twins so they will be complacent next year and maybe even break up the team. If they lose, they may be even hungrier, or so the theory usually goes.

I like players who I personally consider difference makers. And I may be full of bleep but I think a big difference maker is Jim Thome. I know the Indians stunk this year, but I think if we got him it would be comparable to guys Bill Veeck used to add eons ago to make the Sox competitive and fun. Like Dick Allen, Zisk, Pudge (was he a Veeck guy?). We haven't added a fun player in a long time. So my faves are Thome, Pedro of course, and many of the current Twins. But if I could add one guy, it'd be Thome or Christian Guzman.

Guys n gals, Are we in good shape as far as attendance? Is Reinsdork pondering moving our boys or are we safe for many years to come? I know we didn't have very good attendance, did we? We averaged about 20,000? or was it 22,000?

I did not realize the Bears were doing better in the ownership dept. That's good to hear. Is McCaskey gone? I always disliked that boob.

Yes, Thome contingent on no Frank. I just love Thome for some reason. I think he would put us over the top. The guy is a great great guy and amazing power hitter.

I would like to play also, but I am on the road a lot during Kansas University basketball season covering the team, so I might screw it up if I'm out of town 2-3 days in a row.

I hope you are right, but I don't know how we can call the division ours. We played .500 ball and still have a ton of question marks. Until I see the Twins roster next year I can't say we are gonna win squat. Does anybody know for sure who the Twins are gonna lose? Who are free agents, etc. I thought they had a batch of guys in the Mark B. category, way too young to be free agents

KW was a bad baseball player and a worse GM. HE should be fired now. All this other crap is window dressing. He put the team together. He added the cancer Royce. He added the joke Ritchie. He added the lazy Lofton. He is a moron and should be FIRED!!!!

I have no doubt he tried, but he stunk. Royce - D. His attitude sucked, but he could field. Around the diamond Paulie - A. Great year. Harris - C, definitely has potential, but can he hit? Jimenez - B. Nice job, I'd say. Jose V - B- He did drive in some runs. Graff- B. Nice utility man when healthy. Crede- A minus. Did a great job. Olivo - dunno, you tell me, didn't see enough games, but I like him. How bout B. Mark Johnson - C-. Disappointing. Josh P - C. Carlos Lee - B-. Nice finish to season. Was he better on Defense this year? Rowand - B. Is he a good enough hitter to play every day? I like the fact we won with him in there. Maggs - A plus. One of bestplayers in league. Liefer- D-plus. Didn't do much, did he? Frank - C plus. Decent numbers, clueless first half of season. Joe B - incomplete. Garland - B plus. For his age, he had a great year. Wright - B plus. For his age, he had a good year. Mark B - A plus. Amazing. Foulke - C minus. Ritchie - F. Really killed us early, all season as a matter of fact. Biddle, Glover - ? Middle relievers at best? Osuna and the rest of th erelievers B. Comments? Manuel - D plus. KW - F. Jerry Reinsdork - F.

Seems we were destined to finish .500. Win one, lose one. Maddening, but we're not nearly as bad as half the AL. Even though this series meant nothing, don't you think the fact we got swept again shows we need help? If I was GM I would sign Thome (great guy, great hitter) and I would sign two pitchers. I know .... we have no money. But if we added Thome and two GOOD pitchers we'd win the frickin World Series. p.s. David Wells won 19 games. Nice move keeping him, KW.

Mark B really does need to be making at least 2 mill a year. As a gesture of good faith the Sox need to pay him a few bucks extra next year.

Why we are keeping Ritchie is beyond explanation. The guy sucked. Let him go elsewhere. I'd rather see Rauch take his starts.

It's probably good we lose all 3 to the Twins lest our GM think we are ready to dominate next year without some changes. We need some tinkering though we've been great the last 30 games or so.

14-12 doesn't sound so bad on paper, does it? Had Ritchie gone 14-12 would we have thought he did what we wanted him to do, give us innings? I am hoping Wright and Garland can be consistently good next year like Mark B, but that may be wishful thinking. I think Moyer is the answer to all our problems.

We can't afford Clemens, Maddux or Glavine. How much will Moyer want? 8 mill? Our only hope is Moehler or Byrd and they could suck.

I give Frank credit for putting up some moderately decent numbers. He had a nice last five weeks or so. It'd be OK to keep him as our DH except for the money and it ain't our money it's Reinsdork's.

How come some of our starters can only go 5 inns? Thank goodness our middle relief has been good of late.
