  1. OK. I do take your word for it as a Soxtalk attorney. I trust u over RG. If he's a total bozo, fine, I'm mistaken. I figured if he's Trump's personal lawyer and a former good mayor, he has a clue.
  2. That's a good analogy IMO. He is truly playing this lost game under protest. That's why I personally think Trump is dumb to pursue this. He's not going to win the election, period, just as nobody has won a protest since the pine tar game. It's over. I'd personally suggest he move on and enjoy the fruits of being an ex president. However if his protests have something to them and this get overturned, I'd applaud him for taking it to court and sorting it out. If this makes any sense...
  3. If there is reason to consider it a frivilous lawsuit then I'm all for throwing it out. Hopefully somebody in the judicial will determine that. If it's determined Trump is wasting the court's time hopefully he's reprimanded, mocked, whatever. If there's reason to try a lawsuit, though, try it.
  4. To be clear it was a TV show with the interview shown on youtube which is the Internet. I'm serious if you guys want me to get out of this thread I will.
  5. I'm not making any of this stuff up, I'm commenting on what's going on out there. I'm not just dismissing what Trump's team is saying. They are saying there's fraud and his personal attorney is filing suits. This is all real and worth commenting on. Just because I'm one of the only guys willing to let it play out in court instead of just dismissing it doesn't mean I'm insincere. I have a lot of concerns about the radical left. If Joe truly is a moderate I'm all for Joe even though I"m sick about my taxes likely going up. If you all want me to shut up and please not comment on this stuff I will abide by your decision and shut up.
  6. Rudy G is the president's personal attorney, not some yokel on the street. He says he has witnesses to fraud who are ready to testify. I can only go by what a legitimate source says. The president's personal attorney is a legitimate source. It's not just Donnie Jr. saying it. So he needs to put up the witnesses or shut up. Not sure why this is so controversial. My personal take is Trump should give it up. It's not going to get overturned and like I said in another thread he's an old man who should do what ex-presidents do: enjoy the SS protection, write books, go on speaking tours, enjoy the final years of his life.
  7. Too bad baseball commish can't step in and suspend Tony one full season. Sox should just bring back RR for a year and give him a shot to win it all with the team he helped mold. He can be interim. What an example of good guy vs. bad: grandpa nice guy RR vs. Troubled Tony LaRussa, the legit ring-owner. I am sorry I was one of 1 or 2 fans on the site elated when Sox hired Tony. I thought he'd made one mistake years ago and learned from it. I had no idea he was this kind of a jerk/lawbreaker. I apologize.
  8. Do you want a link to Giuliani? Says he has many many willing to testify to blatant fraud. Why can't we just decide it in the courts? At the very least it might allow us to lock up anybody who may have committed voter fraud. If the lawsuits convict one person guilty of messing with my ballot or my neighbor's ballot, it's worth it. Rudy says there's fraud and he can prove it.
  9. I just listened to a Rudy G youtube in which he clearly lays out his case for fraud. Let it play out in the courts. He was on a local NY stadtion. He said no media nationally are interested in the story. In Rudy's words, "you may not believe the evidence but there is evidence of fraud." There's no harm in letting it play out in the courts. It won't affect Joe in any way and his supporters are just mocking the efforts of Trump and Rudy G anyway. So what's the problem?
  10. I apologize for being so excited about the LaRussa hire. I mistakenly figured the DUI in his past was a one-time thing. To get one DUI is bad (though I know many who've gotten them; not me), but to get two when you can call for an Uber is indefensible. All you have to do is call an Uber. The Sox have to fire him. DUIs are unacceptable in any era. To not take an Uber or Lyft is just sticking your middle finger to society and safety. I need to read through the thread but I do apologize for wanting Tony to be Sox manager. I just incorrectly assumed his first DUI was a mistake and many people make mistakes. But to keep him now is wrong on many levels. Jerry probably should sell the team in response to this, but I doubt he will. The reason I say that is if the reports are true he knew about the DUI the day before Tony was hired, that's pretty despicable. I have no excuses. I thought Tony was a great choice as a Hall of Famer but obviously he has problems and the biggest problem is he endangered others in breaking the law. My deepest apologies to Sox fans and humanity for thinking Tony was the only choice.
  11. That's a fair post. I can see your point(s). I have to be honest. I haven't watched any of Trump's pressers or whine sessions or whatever they are. I've tried to cut back on stuff I watch cause it all makes me so upset. So if that disqualifies me from having an opinion, so be it. I personally think I should share my opinion because there ARE people who think like me out there. In conclusion, though, If I were Trump I'd just concede and spend the rest of my life (he's old, folks) doing what ex-presidents do, write books, give speeches, do stuff for charity and fade away with the realization you once held the highest office, no more. The ODDS of all the lawsuits changing anything are slim IMO so I'd move on. That's just me.
  12. I would agree with your statement even tho you probably meant it as sarcasm.
  13. Again thanks for asking. I appreciate it instead of just blasting me since I'm in the minority on this election issue. Do I think there was fraud and it cost DT the election? My answer: You know what, my opinion would be there probably was no fraud. I can't accuse Americans of that without proof. HOWEVER people a lot smarter than me sense fraud and want to clear it up in court, etc. I see no harm in that. Weren't you telling us you knew Biden would win all along? Have you changed your tune? A: No. I was positive Biden would win. For me it was a no brainer. Even your man Rush said Trump lost didn't he? A: I haven't listened to Rush in ages believe it or not. I did hear highlights of the show on youtube in which he updated his health situation. In this world of entertainment, Stern has won out for me and I only listen to him in the car, thus no Rush for me. What is all of this BS accomplishing? A: He thinks he got robbed and has the right to take it to court. Even Ms. Clinton said on tape that if Joe lost he should under NO CIRCUMSTANCES concede. Did u see that? I did. No harm in making sure there's no corruption. One thing we know about our great country. Unfortunately there have been a lotta scandals. It does no harm in looking into this. Joe is already working on his staff and tackling COVID, etc. It's not holding him up.
  14. What's wrong with airing a grievance through the judicial system? The different branches are what make our country so great. If you have a beef might as well explore all avenues. If your claims are wrong, then accept that. Nothing wrong with contesting what you feel are improprieties if you feel you are wronged in America.
  15. LOL. I'll shut the fuck up. Nice language. I'm out, mod.
  16. Who deemed you the great and all power Wizard of Oz to judge people like this?
  17. Oh my gosh, I'm speechless. If people think Trump voters have to ask for forgiveness maybe the cause for national unity is laughable. Maybe we should pass a law saying those who voted for the losing candidate (if he is an abrasive jerk as deemed by a nationwide panel of experts) must issue a public declaration asking to be allowed to remain in the country.
  18. Amen. Why would any voter tell the truth if asked a question by a pollster? I'd imagine most people fib just to get rid of said pollster. It's nobody's business.
  19. Why are you judging people's beliefs and motives? Quite an assumption in telling somebody what they really believe when you have no idea if that is the case.
  20. You have no right to say I consider Biden voters people I don't care about. You just don't have that right to judge what is in my heart. I do hear what you are saying a lot. Your post implies some bad things. So do you agree with Sunny Hostin that those who punched Trump's name on the ballot are scum and not worthy of your time EVER? I consider those who punched biden's name precious human beings and hold the same affinity for those who took the time to go to the polls and vote DT. I wish the best for everybody and pretty much hope/pray for the best for the USA at all times no matter who is in charge.
  21. Good post. I think he'll be banned before long by Twitter.
  22. I hear you and respect your post. But my point is no matter what you think of Trump, 'nearly' 50 percent of voters want him four more years as president. They don't want to fight you over Trump's nature. If it can be proven Trump broke the law, throw him in jail. But do it through the legal system. If people (not you) want to hate on all Trump voters, our country is DESTINED for Civil War II or states seceding. I do like this line of your post: "Maybe with him gone, divisions can be healed or least progress can be made in that area." I do not like the part that calls the choice of 50 percent of the voters a "pathetic excuse for a human."
  23. So that's what you got out of my post? Nice. Why always separate the two groups? Why not just say you wish Trump supporters well and you wish for both sides to start getting along? When you think that half the country approximately wanted Trump, the winning side has to either accept the fact or be like Sunny Hostin and just say half the country, one of every two people you meet, are scumbags and racists and don't deserve to share the same country Biden supporters live in. I wish everybody well and I wish Joe the best of health and success.
  24. Please accept the fact about half the country wanted Trump and guess what, they still want Trump. If people accept that maybe we all can get along. If Americans don't get along, the future is very very bleak. Someday maybe people can accept the fact not everybody in this great country is the same.
  25. True, with great talent and the best manager, Sox are loving life.
