He needs to hit 25 home runs next year and drive in 80 to 100 RBIs or he's just another Viciedo IMO. He also has 7 SBs and seven caught stealing which really blows. I'd give him a D grade for this season. He has pretty much sucked. I don't despise him as a player yet, though. One more season like this and I'd say dump him for scraps though.

I'll watch the highlights. Heard some facebook grumblings that CNN was not asking about issues, trying instead to get the candidates to blast each other. These debates have turned into opportunities for the journos to "build their brand." Meghan whatever her last name is built her brand with her fight with Trump. Any media 'stars' tonight? Healthcare is pretty ridiculous. I know somebody's work gives a 50 dollar per month discount if they get bloodwork done at workplace through a testing company and their levels are all in an acceptable range. That seems a little big brother to me. Most people get a physical once a year and have their levels checked that way. Seems a little HR happy intrusive, uncalled for type thing to me.

You are correct. I'd release Olt now lest they are tempted to bring him to spring training. Might as well ask Shark if he wants to keep starting or not. He did agree to come to the Sox for a year and not block the trade, so we owe him that since the games are meaningless and it's kind of funny to see his ERA keep going up.

The Sox are an embarrassment. Lot of people stealing money. Can you believe how bad the team's home record is this year? It's pathetic. Sitting right at .500 I believe. I don't see how anybody can buy season tickets for this trash next season. Sox are not going to be able to change the squad dramatically UNLESS somebody's willing to take our high priced guys off our hands which is doubtful. Hopefully the Sox can talk an NL team into taking LaRoche and Melky off the squad's hands. I can't believe I'm saying this but I'd have rather given Viciedo or Trayce the 550 at bats than Melky. Viciedo woulda hit .220 with about 25 bombs; Trayce, who knows what he woulda hit? So the Sox have blown chunks 2 straight seasons now. Prospects of a third straight lousy season are very likely. What ya gonna do about it, Jerry?
