  1. Tyler needs to make contact.
  2. Suddenly the Sox are horses*** against the Central again and an embarrassment. A four game sweep? To Minnesota? What a pathetic effort by Robin and Coop's team.

QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jun 22, 2014 -> 12:00 PM) What the hell is with this if she was a republican crap? No president has been ridiculed and attacked as much as Obama and never have so many athletes refused to visit the white house because of our president as well. This is all after no matter how you feel about our current president he has been an improvement over the last guy who was a republican. I don't want to hear if they were a republican crap again. Are you serious about ridicule of Obama? I can't think of any credible criticism of him. In fact, the important part, when it's election time, he's treated with such kid gloves. He'd be re-elected the next four elections if our rules allowed him to run again and again. Who is criticizing Obama besides republican politicians? He's attacked by Republican members of Congress. Big deal. I'm just saying for some reason the media feel the Democratic candidate deserves kid gloves at election time, making sure they get in office. They might 'question' Obama once or twice during his first or second year of office. Big deal. WHen it's crunch time for Obama and Hillary it will be kid gloves and all sorts of praise making sure she's elected Queen of the United States. How dare she make light of rape. Congrats, Hillary, you won the case. You should be humble about it. -- Glad to see Hillary catch a tad bit of grief over her being rich and acting like she's poor. I see Bill has chimed in on it. I still think it'll be kid gloves time once she announces she's running but at least for now it's nice to see her have to face some music.
  4. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 20, 2014 -> 10:49 PM) Central Park Five settle with NYC for $40M 40 million dollars to split? Amazing how their lives must have changed upon receipt of that money. Doesn't make up for what happened to them. At least it's a nice stipend for them.

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Jun 21, 2014 -> 10:19 PM) Feminists will either ignore it or excuse it, just like they did Bill's womanizing. But if she were a Republican......... Good point. I mean, why wouldn't feminists be OUTRAGED?? I mean Hillary laughing at getting the rapist set free is reprehensible. QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 21, 2014 -> 11:10 PM) This is what we get for choosing "rule by rich lawyers" Good point. She had the audacity to act like she was poor upon leaving the White House the first time in that statement she made the other day. Again, if this was a Republican, wow. If the media wanted to, the media could have a field day with this candidate during the primaries. If they give her a free pass and just toss her softball questions during the campaign rather than pester her with a barrage of questions that will be sad. The media normally smells blood. Here you've got a candidate who can be knocked off her game fairly easily. If NPR can do it, wow, the press corps could really get her going during the campaign. Thing is, guys like Chris Matthews don't want Hillary to squirm, they want her as Queen of the USA.
  6. The Sox have the money, right? So why not start the pursuit of Tomas. Make it clear to Boras the Sox want and need him.
  7. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 21, 2014 -> 10:20 PM) Wow! After reading your evaluation I just feel like it's time to turn off the lights and padlock the door Not really. I had the Sox getting quite a bit back for Lexi; little to nothing for those other guys. Put yourself in the position of another GM. Let's say the Sox offered him Beckham. Now what has Beckham shown that would make that GM actually want to commit to Beckham? I think even a great optimist like you, El Rockin, would agree Belly and those other guys bring nothing besides scraps.
  8. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 21, 2014 -> 10:25 PM) Well, anyone other than Sale, Quintana, Eaton, Avi Garcia, or Abreu. I'd be fine unloading anyone else. Beckham, Alexei, Dunn, Downs, Belisario could net decent returns. Beckham--Maybe a low level prospect. Alexei-Yes, we'd get a lot for him. Dunn-Absolutely nothing but a low level prospect if that. Downs-Nothing but garbage in return if that. Belly - Nothing but garbage in return if that.
  9. Team dysfunction continues under Robin/late Ozzie era. This stage of season how do you get swept in 4 game series by Minnie after sweeping SF?? Crazy crazy crazy. No offense to Robin, but we need to try an experienced real manager like LaRussa. Oh wait we had a chance to get him and let Zona pick him up.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 21, 2014 -> 09:18 PM) Perkins owns Dunn...how did he miss that last fastball? Probably the lefty/lefty thing and fact he tries to pull everything. It equals whiff.
  11. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Jun 21, 2014 -> 09:17 PM) Adam seems to be pressing in these type of ABs.....I still think it would help him out quite a bit if they'd get the contract extension done soon. I assume you are joking. He gets no extension from the White Sox. Time to move on.
  12. LOL. Whiff. 3 in a row to horrid Twins.
  13. Adam needs to poke a single to left.
  14. Ugh. Abreu whiffs.
  15. Konerko can still hit. With regular at bats he'd be .280 with 20 homers IMO.
  16. One run in inning. One out. One more run needed. Actually 2 more. they got the home at bat.
  17. Eaton whacks it over the cf head for a triple.
  18. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 21, 2014 -> 09:04 PM) I'm ready for it. Better now than later in my opinion. Selling off a bunch of veterans and securing another top 10 draft pick could really help the organization long-term. Who are you planning on selling? I still say Dunn brings nothing and Danks brings nothing cause of his contract. These relievers like Downs will bring nothing. Ditto DeAza. I guess you mean Beckham and Lexi.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 21, 2014 -> 08:52 PM) I put on the soccer game, but how deep was Viciedo's fly out? It was not that deep a drive or a good at bat. He hacked at the first pitch. He has absolutely no clue. He tries to jack everything out and has six home runs.
  20. LOL at that at bat. Swing at the pitch. Inept.
  21. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 21, 2014 -> 08:39 PM) Heard on radio If Sox lose today nobody not even the 62 Mets have went this deep into the year losing every game on a given day EVER! Sox setting another first IF they do not wake up today. This team has done way too many weird things like this during the latter part of the Ozzie tenure and the entire Ventura tenure. Team dysfunction. Maybe it's just a bad team/organization and I need to get used to it.
  22. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 21, 2014 -> 08:13 PM) This offense is crazy bipolar Lot of bad hitters in the lineup to go with a few stars.
  23. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 21, 2014 -> 07:40 PM) Hawk is just a horrible, horrible announcer. The amount of mistakes he makes every game is inexcusable. I love Hawk. This team is trending downward of late.
  24. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 21, 2014 -> 07:54 PM) Rienzo is flat out not starting caliber. Hahn and Cooper with the big fail in regards to this pitching staff this season. It is a disgraceful staff for the big league level.
  25. QUOTE (chisoxfan310 @ Jun 20, 2014 -> 09:23 PM) Let him replace Viciedo. Exactly what I was going to write. Dayan is a tease. Such herculean home runs, but he only has six of them. He's just not a good enough hitter to stick.
